What age range is it geared for?

Age range is from 18 months to 4 year old. I like this bike very much, I can adjust the handlebars and seats according to my child's height.

What tools are needed to assemble the balance bike

I believe the tool was included.

How does it work? Please help!

They helps the little one learn to balance on his or her own. But that do not balance on their own. They are very light weight, We got one for our 2YO for her birthday and she was flying around with her feet up, balancing on her own in about 3 weeks.

Does anyone know the tires are rubber or plastic?

Great starter balance bike.

The bike was easy to assemble. It is a good height for my 2 year old who is short for his age. It is light weight so even he can bike it up all by himself.I was worried that the wheels would slip since they are plastic, not rubber. As he has used the bike the plastic has worn rough and provides traction.Adjusting seat height is very easy.Very pleased.

My grand loves it!
