Great flavor, has some kick.
I got to go on my first backpacking trip recently and wasn't really sure what to get, turns out this was the right choice! I was with some seasoned backpackers and didn't have to feel second rate to their meals or preparedness. I didn't think to stir/mix it extremely well as it was rehydrating, so I got a lot of extra seasoning and spice at the bottom. I can imagine how much better it would have tasted if the flavor and kick would have been evenly distributed, but even at that, it really had a good taste.I probably could have let it rehydrate a bit longer, but I was hungry and didn't mind a little texture hahaha. I says two servings, but I definitely ate all of it in one sitting and it was not too much.

Another great product from Backpackers Pantry
I've never tasted one that I didn't like, and they are super filling. I plan to get one of those super long backpacking spoons for easier usage.

Flavor good
Flavor was pretty good for this type of meal, but still a little crunchy after cooking according to the directions.

Good flavors, easy to make.
Didn't get a picture of the actual meal, we ate it so quickly lol. We were starving after hiking up the mountain. Was very impressed with the flavor and ease to make this. - just be sure you bring something to stir it.

Tasty!
Delicious! Probably my one of my favorite backpacking dinners but in the future I would make some modifications. I would bring hot sauce (maybe one packet from Taco Bell) and a little cheese to go in it. A mini guac would be great too but possibly heavy. Also this is a big meal. My friend and I each had one and we couldn’t finish them. I normally eat my entire backpacking meal but this genuinely seems like two dinners. Something to consider if you don’t want to carry uneaten food or have room for it in a bear can.
