This is 11 " heavy duty glass and metal ring around the glass. It is heavy and sturdy, cant expect any less, especially by the higher price, but quality is excellent. It first arrived with bent up metal rim and was replaced promptly. Thank you ! It fits the fancy pan perfectly, remember to take inside dimension when fitting a lid on a pot or pan....

This beautiful lid from a prestigious producer of fine kitchen craft ware happens to fit my 10" Cuisinart tri-ply stainless steel non-stick pan just perfectly. I measured carefully and it looked like it would - and it did!! The measurements they provide are exact. It is so lovely!! Makes the pan look like I must have spent a fortune!

Glass lids are not drop-proof but it's plenty sturdy for glass and stainless. It's a perfect fit for the Canadian-made Meyer 8-inch non stick pan.

This is solidly made, and although it's not made in Germany as one might wish, it is not made in China either. It is of Vietnamese manufacture, according to the label. This lid is a perfect fit for the super-high quality Canadian made Meyer 12.5 inch non-stick pan with the helper handle, sold elsewhere on Amazon. It's also a perfect fit for an ABC purchasing program. Like mine.
