Does the 3157 bulb really cause hyper flashing when used as blinker light?

short answer yes ( explanation ) in most cases yes, modern cars are designed to make your blinkers flash rapidly when you have a light out, if a bulb burns out then you have lower resistance or ( load ) in the circuit. LED use less power than a standard bulb so the system hyper flashes . you can add a load resistor to stop the flash , but you also lose the ability to tell if you have a light out also load resistor get very hot and if not installed correctly can cause damage, I would recommend replacing the relay with one designed to be used with LED . then everything will work the way it was intended. or just put the LED in and deal with the fact that your blinker will blink faster, and you will have to do a walk around your vehicle to check that all your lights work, just like we did before computers came along

Will this fit my 2005 surburban

These replace standard bulbs; I.e. 3057, 3157, etc., so I am fairly certain they will fit any vehicle that utilizes those bulbs

Simple yet perfect

Product arrived quickly to my home. At first noticed packaging was very simple and didnt give much insight on sizing or additional information. Opened and well packed along with pamphlet of instructions for care and Install. Quick and easy to replace with former bulbs and work great. Great look and absolutely brighter than standard. Flash very fast

These are quite bright, and seem to be of fairly good quality, but when installed in my truck they caused the turn signals to flash extremely fast, and this messed with my tailgate light bar, so I ended up not using them and went with my stock lamps.

Solid bulb for the price

Actually really solid for the price. Doesn't have a resistor built in so if you're getting the for turn signals you either need to wire a resistor (also sold as a load equalizer) in, or get a LED compatible relay. Unless you dont care about hyperflash, in that case they're direct replacements.Definitely gonna buy these for my celica as well. Looks much cleaner than a halogen and 10x brighter.

nice and bright and automatically go from brake, mark or back up brightness

be aware that manufacture is not consistent. some are loose fitting others are extra tight..still others snap into place normally..and thats all from the same batch i ordered!. might need elect tape like i needed to secure some into the socket so they dont come out over time or vibration, etc. now i will see how long they last!! just installed them today dec 31st 2024. i understand some led fail after a short time. they are supposed to last way longer than regular light bulbs; i shall see how it goes and report back if unsatisfactory.
