Easy installation
So simple to install. Works perfect. Exactly what I needed without breaking the bank

Thick and solid, crystal clear glass
Thing has to weigh almost two pounds, could probably be used as a home defense weapon by itself if necessary. Reticle is crystal clear and so is the glass.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was in the market for a new optic for my AR 15 after running a red dot for years. With age and eyesight becoming an issue, I started researching prism optics. After reviewing the choices and taking into consideration of what my needs were, I decided on the Blade. I was extremely happy with my purchase. The eye relief is generous and zeroed with just a few clicks. Clear lens and crisp reticle will certainly meetany needs for cqb plus a little more reach if needed.

Bad Optic
I wanted to like this so much. I am a fan of swamp fox and have two other products from them. This however did not meet the cut. The prism black etching is fine, but once you turn of the green dot comes the issue. The optic lens is unusable if you change the brightness setting to any other level that the lowest one. There is a bright green unbearable glare reflection that blinds you. Unsafe and unreliable. What a shame, huge potential for a great optic.

Easy and Accurate
Mounted my new Blade onto a Ruger PC9 and took it to the range for testing. My 60+ year old eyes easily found clarity even without my glasses, the adjustable viewfinder allows for excellent focus. In sunny conditions, I easily stepped up the brightness to a comfortable level. My first groupings were only a little off windage-wise, elevation was spot on out of the box. Very cool feature is that the scope can be adjusted using the tools built right into the adjustment sealing caps. After a couple groups I had the Blade dialed in and was stacking bullseyes from 50 yards.By the way, get yourself a Ruger PC9!But for sure, this Swampfox Blade is an awesome piece of gear. Pricier than a Bushnell, but in my opinion worth the extra $$ for reliable home defense.

No Good
Arrived with no reticle illumination. Put several new batteries in. Nothing. Also, the honeycomb lens emitter was a different size, and could not be screwed onto muzzle end of scope.I can’t recommend this Swampfox.

Nice
Really good scope. Above the third brightness setting it does have a ghosting and glare that does really screw with your sight. But personally the black reticle works great outside and adequate light settings. If needed the first three brightness levels will get you where you need to go. Overall very solid.

Worth every penny.
the variable ability of this optic is amazing the target transition from distance to distance is crisp and concise can perform accurately on 5yard to a 300 yard scale and can easily dial it in with the adjustment key they send with it, if someone is wearing plates in cqb and all you got it 9mm plus p and shot placement you would have absolutely no trouble placing one in the hip and dropping someones entire platform like a fish, and follow up with 3inch killbox to the face or hostage drills for a 3inch kill box behind a shoulder. if you are looking to improve groups and shot placement this is the optic i would run. simple and effective
