Candles, incense sticks, gas stoves, fireplace use!
I bought fancy, scented candles for my inlaws for Christmas, and slipped one of these electric lighters into each gift bag as a fun, cheap way maintain the theme and encourage them to actually burn the candles. Bought one for us, too! Works great, stays charged a good while. Very convenient for candle wicks, and works well on our incense sticks, too! Sturdy aluminum shell (case), buttons easy to slide and operate. Charging cord is VERY short (maybe 4 inches) and does not come with charging block, but no big deal (we have many!). You'll have to find a plug near something that you can prop the lighter up on.

Fantastic invention. Does exactly what it says. Charges up so I never need to worry about a refill, or throwing something out. Has a great safety feature. Love it!

Good for quick use
Yes worth it. Over time the charge doesn't last as long as it did in the beginning. Need a quick light and can't find your lighter. This is it. Not good for lighting candles in tall glasses once it gets low. Only drawback. Other than that would recommend.

Great for a gift or emergency situations
Please take a little while to get used to and they're a little funky to work with but once you get the hang of it they're pretty handy to have. I use a lot of different lighters throughout the day and some of them don't always work so I resort to this as a backup. Works great for lighting torches that don't have a clicker although the spacing of the elements is a little thin so for this use the product may get damaged over time but for the price it was completely worth it. I have given away a couple of them as gifts and my family seems to really like them. My mom says they are fun to use lol
