Cuisavour’s Wine Chiller Stick with Pourer Gift Set

Not at all as other reviewers have stated. This is the first time I have ever used a wine chiller and overall a disappointing experience. Well, the first thing I learned is that don't put this into a full bottle of wine; it immediately overflowed! I guess I should have expected this but there were no instructions telling me one way or another. Although I froze the rod for two days before I used it and waiting at least 10 minutes before pouring my first glass, the Sauvignon Blanc was barely room temperature. By the time I poured the next glass the wine was the same temperature as the ambient air! I wanted this to work but it disappointed all the way!I will make a correction here: It does say on the side of the box to reduce the contents before inserting the rod; just another step adding to what should be an enjoyable experience. My mistake but it doesn't excuse the mediocre reason for its existence--to chill wine! I have used a chill sleeve prior to this that worked many times better than this product, so I will probably go back to using it and forget about the empty promises of this product!

I think this wine chiller is pretty balanced in terms of its positive and negatives sides. That is why I think a 3-star rating is fair enough. On the positive side of it, it is very elegant-looking and suitable for various occasions. Unlike ice cubes, its cooling capability does not come at the expense of the wine's taste, as in it doesn't get diluted afterwards. It is more convenient in terms of preparation and cleaning up. And since it's stainless steel, I think it won't easily break.On the downside though, the chiller stick is not long enough to reach where it should. If you have consumed almost half the bottle, it would be totally useless as it wouldn't be able to reach the liquid anymore. The cooling capability is not as strong as that of ice cubes. Also, I think it's too costly for just simple wine cooling.

I like this chiller. I was expecting a colder chill though. This review started as a 3 star review but I was reading other reviews and they did mention that this doesn't chill like ice does. So i bumped it up to 4 stars because it does as described anyway.

Perfect I am glad that it worked well during my big family gathering, I love that it looked classy and also because we did not have to bring in more buckets of ice inside the dining area, the dining tables remained dry and a dry table is easier to clean. And an added bonus of me having this product, is that I am happy that it did not dilute the wine with a watery taste like ice cubes does..This is definitely I am happy to have this wine chiller.

I got this as a gift for my mom. It broke inside the wine bottle during the first use. We are returning it.

This product is awesome! It keeps the wine cold and by not having to use ice cubes, the wine doesn't get diluted!

The first time I attempted to use the wine chiller, it fell apart. Wasted my money

purchased as a birthday gift for one of my sons-in-law. he loves it; says it works quite nicely.
