Don't know but I weigh 235, no problems

Dears, Yes, you can use air pump to inflate the sleeping pad . There is an air nozzle that can be used with the air pump.

Q: if this product is self-inflating why the foot pump?

It is not self inflating ..you have to press the pump on the head of the mattress to inflate either by your hand or foot ..I tape the opening open ehilee we’d inflating bc it tends to flap closed while pumping which stops inflation :-)

Q: Does the pillow inflate separately?

The sleeping pad and the pillow are connected together, the pillow does not need to be inflated separately.
