So far so good. Easy to install. App easy to use as I’m already familiar with it for CCTV cameras.The LEDs are nice and bright, although I would be careful of running them at full brightness as this will inevitably shorten their life.The effects are good, and the sound too like function is also quite good. My missus doesn’t like them though because apparently “it’s not the right vibe for a summer house” 🤣

This little light strip seems great for the price. I’ll be investing in some more for future projects and time will tell if they last like they claim. Easy to use and the length of cable is perfect. These will be used with our new staircase installation and were recommended by the fitter so he must get good feedback on the quality and durability. Also, the use with connecting to Alexa is perfect. Great little product.

So, If you can wait, it's a great priceI bought this because it's from Tapo and I had a great experience with their smart light bulbs... and I was not disappointedThis is the great quality that you come to expect from a brand like TapoIt's super simple to connect to the app and is effortless to use. The app allows you to change colours, brightness etc and even comes with mood modes which can change through colours to mimic things such as a roaring fire colour or festive coloursThis also works great with our Echo / AlexaThe product itself is quite fun to install. We put this on our 55 inch TV amd it was plenty big enough.The lights are super sticky when attaching them, so there is no worry about the stickiness and it fastening or keeping fastenedThey are fairly easy to install. It gives you tips in the instructions of how to fit around corners, which is really useful when it comes to attaching to things such as TVsWill be buying more of these.... in the sales, of course!

I wanted to automate my home so went on the search for a setup that I could expand on. Other products where either too cheap or unknown and lacked compatibility and availability to other sensors or had some flaws. Tapo a brand made by TP Link is known for its vast product range.These LEDs are so bright I have set they to 20% down down the stair rails. You can set the color's of choice, and set up automations, With adding a Hub sold separately you can still setup a schedule, timer, away actions, effects, and react to sound. I use this with a Hub so Tapo sensors trigger them, and lights at certain times of the night or day. I also use the Tapo button to be a doorbell that changed the stair lights to another color so I can see someone is at the door.

I bought this LED strip to put round my IKEA pegboard and am amazed with the results. It was super easy to set up and the software it comes with is super easy to use. I paired it with my amazon Alexa and all I need to say is "Alexa turn the pegboard on" and it does it instantly - it's awesome!

The media could not be loaded. If you do not intend to split this strip it is fantastic and I would not hesitate in giving it 5 stars as everything is so simple and works exactly as it should.Here is the 'but' - I needed to split it into segments to go behind a stained glass and therefore having continuity in colour is essential. I got two one metre strips working perfectly. When I added a third, the final third was pink and not white. I have contacted the manufacturer through the number that is given in Amazon and they requested a photo which I have sent. As yet I have not heard back but I will update this review when I hear from them. Perhaps mine is faulty and they will replace it in which case, assuming it works as expected, I would raise my rating to 5 stars. I then added another one metre hoping for the best. To my surprise, the 3rd link went white and the last link went pink like the previous one was. So it looks like the last link if a chain is a different colour to the remainder.Don't get me wrong, they are very high quality and the app and Alexa link work perfectly (I have called it stained glass - see video).To be continued when I hear from the manufacturer.Update - The supplier was great. Sent a photo and a replacement was sent out. Not going to cut it just incase and will gently turn it at the changes of direction as it says you can.

I use the Tapo app on my Apple device with smart plugs to control my appliances so the LED lighting strip was an addition to the family.After an initial problem, which Amazon sorted straightaway, the 5m lights are up and working around a large doorway. I’m used to being able to use the app for scheduling I’m now learning to control the sequencing, which is really rather fun. At the moment the lights change colour on the hour and there are more features I’ve yet to investigateI would recommend any Tapo product

These lights are amazing, I’ve been through two sets of the cheap ones you can buy, both of which I returned as the settings weren’t correlating with the remote, and the stick was adequate, but these are deffo worth the extra few pounds as they’re properly sticky and last, even in kitchen steam environments, and the lights are of good bright quality too.
