Perfect part
Works perfectly on my daughter atv. Do need to have some Mechanical ability to install but once you're done it can be Tuned easily.

Works great on my 1987 YFM-80
I was tired of fiddling with the nearly 40 year old OEM carb on my YFM-80. So I figured for 26 bucks, I'd give this thing a try. 4 wheeler fired right up after installing it. Didn't even have to fiddle with the idle or jets. Hopefully it lasts a few years. Still have the old carb for parts. I did have to use the OEM "top" that the throttle cable/slide attaches too and the OEM slide spring.

Actually works
Seems to work pretty good. Bought 3 of these for two 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 80 atvs and one 2008 Yamaha Raptor 50 atv. Very minor tuning of the carb is needed if at all. Takes some warming up (about 3-5 minutes of idling) on all 3 of the machines before optimal performance is observed. If you don't wait on warm up then the machine will die on you prematurely until finally warming up. Not sure if this is normal of Yamaha or because the carburetor is aftermarket. Overall though, got all 3 of these machines back running with these carbs. Other carbs I've tried were terrible (failed to tune or just wouldn't idle, over-revved etc). $25 decent aftermarket vs $250 oem. Your call...

Beware of leaky carbs.
It fit great, but the jetting was off and the needle began leaking in a couple weeks. Keep your oem carbs and rebuild them.
