Best tweezers I've ever owned.
If the idea of bragging about how awesome your tweezers are, these are for you. I bought two pairs. And both of them have held up over years of use. They come with a very sharp point, perfect for digging in and removing skin or exposing splinters. Right out of the box, they aren't great at pulling out splinters. I took one of the pairs and gave them a small flat side in order to make it easier to pull foreign objects out. The tweezers that have the flat side are perfect for pulling out hairs. You know, when you're trying to pull a hair and you have it in the tweezers, but then once you pull you feel the pressure, but it doesn't actually come out. That doesn't happen ever if you have the hair in your tweezers, it's going to come out.

Might seem strange...
These struck my curiousity, and I thought with the price, just maybe they were quality. I was right. These things are handy, hardy, precise, hardened, needle-sharp, extremely functional tweezers. Splinters? No, these do far greater things. Seriously, they are ultra-high-quality, high carbon tool steel. At least the tweezer blades. I have used these at least 3 times a week since I have gotten them. Perfect keychain size and weight, being its carbon steel.

Very precise
First let me say, I have become a HUGE fan of Civivi and their knives. I needed a pair of tweezers for use at work, i get a lot of metal slivers as a body tech, and i found these little guys. I wasn't sure what to expect from "precision" tweezers but it sounded like what i was looking for. After using these for a few months i can definitely confirm that they are insanely precise. the tips close together perfectly aligned and they are very sharp tipped. They are almost too precise sometimes as i feel like i need a magnifying glass to see what the tips are actually grabbing if its a really tiny sliver. the scroll lock device is a nice design, keeps the sharp tweezers from coming out and poking you on accident. they are super sturdy and feel like they're made of really high quality steel. They're easy to use and put back in their leather case, however the case doesn't really fit the tweezers all that well with the wheel lock being a bit bulky. All in all great little tweezers that feel like they will probably last a lifetime. Definitely a good buy!

Really simple, really nice
So far, so good on actual usage. I buy stuff like this because I'm addicted to EDC stuff. It feels super sturdy and I really like the finish and how the shape of it feels in my hands. The test that really impressed me was that I was able to pinch a single ridge of my fingerprints. I would definitely buy again. No regrets whatsoever.

Great tweezers
Great set of tweezers. Like that you can close them. The shape is perfect for pulling splinters because the they come to a point. They have a nice patina look and I put a zipper pull on them to make them easier to find in my bag or pocket. They are a bit much for a set of tweezers but the quality is worth it in my opinion

Perfect for glochids (small cactus spines)
I grow a lot of cacti, and some of them, Opuntioideaes (cacti with "pads") have areola packed with very, very small, barbed glochids. All of this is a fancy way to say, these little dudes are monsters. They go through leather gloves. They stick to anything that brushes up against them. They are like a stinging nettle or jellyfish. They take weeks to come off. And they hurt!Enter CIVIVI tweezers. I have not found a set of tweezers that can reliably grasp the glochids stuck into my skin and have the grip to pull the little, barbed suckers out of my flesh.. They all have a gap that won't grasp these devil's teeth. The CIVIVI tweezers are a fine-tipped, precision tool. They are able to grasp even the smallest spine, the ones that can only be seen in direct sunlight looking across the landscape surface of the flesh. These tweezers are exactly what I've been looking for for months. The tweezers are incredibly well made. These aren't little works of art that must be babied like a jewler's tool. They are made of robust metal. The tweezers themselves retract into a sheath that is stout. I can carry these on a key ring while working in the garden, no problem.Note, the points of the tweezers are fine and sharp enough to pierce skin. The will be great for removing splinters. They are also something you do not want kids playing with. Really, for those who are not careful, the tweezers are a puncture wound waiting to happen. They are stout and sharp. In the right hands, they are tweezer miracles. In the wrong hands, user beware.

Solid build but smaller than I realized
I cannot attest to its durability yet however at face value its really nice! It is about the length of a finger while closed and a little under double that open. Perfectly square and the width of a house key. Comfortable weight and feels very solid. The tips are very sharp and the contact point is needle small however if you manage to pinch whatever youre going for its not letting go. Screw lock is a little stiff on the first go but after you work it a couple times its buttery smooth to lock it closed/open. The split ring feels like its quality metal but in practice it feels kindof dinky and the same goes for the pleather sleeve. Honestly could omit those and include a slightly larger ring of the same quality or hell even a sticker and I would be happer but we do not buy this for the extras.Pros:-Tight build quality and looks-Very well sized-Lock integration is easy to use and not accidentally loosen in a pocket-Integrated loop at top feels like it will never have issuesNot really any cons but a design tweak that would make it a little more useful is to change from the needle tip and add a small bump to the inside tip to make for a larger gripping surfaceI primarily use this for metal or carbon splinters in automotive work and im sure i will find many more uses for it.

Requires precision
High quality and durable but needle tip makes it difficult to pluck anything including splinters, hairs etc. Would absolutely love a version that has a longer edge.
