Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good product. Better price than local

I try to buy name brand printer ink because the off brands often don’t work as well with the printer. It’s a little more expensive but worth it. There hasn’t been any clogging or smearing problems. The cartridges are very easy to replace and don’t leak at all. I don’t often print in color so these last a long time and it doesn’t affect the quality of the ink.

So in one area they say this is standard yield ink. Another area says it's high yield ink. And then one area says that the page yield is 1500, but another area says the page yield is 750...However, the box says the page yield is 750, so that's what it is. And just so everybody knows, that really is the only page yield available for the LC404 ink. If you go on Brother's website, they have the 3 pack like this, cyan by itself, magenta by itself, yellow by itself, and black by itself. Oh, I believe they sell a pack that has all four in it, but I have never seen it in stock. But regardless, they are all of them always have the same page yield of 750 pages. And it is always the same with all of the generic LC404 inks that I've seen.Now, these ink cartridges work as well as you would expect name brand cartridges to work, so I don't have any complaints about that. However, I would highly recommend saving your money and putting it aside to go toward another printer. One of those "SuperTank" printers. Which SHOULD be able to be found for just over two hundred dollars these days. Or maybe even less. Because, consider how this three pack is about $45 and they say the page yield is 750. Well, the ink for one of the SuperTank printers I was looking at? Comes in a three pack like this one and costs nearly exactly the same. However, the page yield for it is... about 3,000 pages!!

Good original ink. No issues, ink working good. Happy with purchase.
