This is sooooo loud…. Easy to use and would get attention easily.

Granddaughter's going off to college and was she had one but not as good as this one. And they comes in a multitude of beautiful pastel colors. Quite easy to use and a great security for young girl at college

This is a common sense tool for protection. This is for my grand daughter ,she was very happy that somebody cared. Well worth the money.

I loved the concept of this little alarm and strobe light. I purchased three for my daughter and two for me. One on my keychain and One on my nightstand.Thank God, I never needed to use it, but I decided to check if it was still working properly. Unfortunately, the sound is very low and the strobe light is not bright anymore. Makes sense, Probably need to replace the battery right? Nope. I opened it up and to my surprise, I don’t see what I expected to be a little round flat battery. So now it’s garbage. Actually I don’t know at what point it stopped working loud, I tested it when I received it and loved it so I bought a total of five and spent $100. I just checked with my daughters, And she has thrown hers out a long time ago. I see that now they sell some that are rechargeable. That makes more sense.Regarding safety, I must know that whatever I have will work in the event I need it. So mine are going in the trash And will replace with the chargeable one. That is why I edited and Removed a star. When it comes to safety items, it should be clearly noted that one needs to test regularly to make sure the There are still enough power for the alarm and light.False sense of safety. Of course I know this is just for a moments distraction, so someone can get away, hopefully.

I wanted to have something that was a deterrent (just in case), and was effective and legal to carry. The color is a pretty bright pink, the audible alarm is loud and the flashing light works great. It's very easy to activate and is easy to deactivate. It apparently has a one year battery and the battery can be replaced, it's a CR2032. I highly recommend this item. I attached mine to my key ring. And we always carry our keys, so it's with me every time I leave the building.

Did not do more than just a tiny beeping sound from the time I got it. Very dsappointing - and I was leaving on a trip the next day and wanted to feel safer while I traveled. Didn't work at all - do yourself a favor and buy the original Birdie self defence brand!

This is a very worthwhile thing to have on your keychain! I’m glad I got these. They are loud and the strobe is blinding!

UPDATE!!!The seller was gracious enough to send me another one. This second one was a nice hot pink number which I loved. It was a little louder this time. I took it to school and tried it in the school parking lot. It got the attention of the front desk staff so YAY! Additionally, the strobe light worked this time. I still think my whistle is louder but this is a good alternative and a nice gift especially for young teen girls like myself. An additional 2 stars added to rating which gives a total of 3 stars.*********I purchased the mint-green.I do not believe that this will serve the purpose it was purchased for. I did not think it was loud enough to be a safety device. For context, my mom is a fitful sleeper and will wake up if leaves touches her window. I stood outside her window and pulled the top off and she did not wake up. I then used my simple whistle and she woke up. In essence, a whistle made more sense as an alert mechanism. The strobe light did not flash, instead it was a solidly but dimly lit up during the alarm.I do not know if it is just this particular item or the brand as a whole but it was a little disappointing.On the plus side, it is lightweight and inconspicuous. In terms of ease of use, the top came off easily enough and also went back in just as easily. I worry if it will remain tight enough to not spontaneously pop-off and go off but that remains to be seen.OVERALL:Not the best option for safety alarm....
