VonShef RED 250W Hand Mixer Whisk With Chrome Beater, Dough Hook, 5 Speed and Turbo Button + FREE Balloon Whisk

I was a little nervous when I saw the wire whisks as apposed to the thin blade whisks that my old Hand Mixer had. One of the reviews said it was good at whisking up mashed potatoes and that made me take the plunge. It's one thing to mix batter, cake mix etc., but potatoes are a stronger test and this mixer passes that test with flying colors. I love it. Does a great job and is very pretty to look at. The red color is fabulous and I love that it has added attachments with the dough hooks and balloon whisk. Very content with this purchase and well worth the price.

My wife said the color was nice and red. It has more speeds then her old one and it came with many more mixing gadgets then her old one. Have not used as of yet..UPDATE:::::: My wife used the mixer today, Jan 8th and while mixing coohie dough, one of the beaters bent and got hooked up on the other. I have enclosed a photo showing the beaters.Please advise if we can receive a replacement set. Also, my wife said the mixer motor is very power and the wire beaters just are not up for that power. Upon using the mixer with the dough hooks for the first time, I noticed when I removed the hooks for cleaning that some of the chrome coating had come off and a copper colored metal was exposed. I was concerned about the small flakes that had come off into my cookie dough. But I did contact the manufacturer and was told that it was not toxic. I was advised to contact Amazon for a return or replacement. But I did not save the packaging boxes that the mixer had come in. I gave two star because the mixer itself did work well. But I guess I will not use the dough hooks again. What a disappointment.

I had originally purchased the 5 speed KitchenAid model only to return it because it was woefully underpowered. I bought this mixer for a lot less money and am extremely pleased with this product. Not only did it come with attachments that were extra for the KitchenAid mixer, it also came with a lot more power! It mashes potatoes perfectly! I highly recommend this mixer!

Mixer worked fine, but after 9 months, some of the metal started chipping off of the bottoms of the beaters. So, we were eating metal??!! My old mixer had solid stainless beaters, and I had thought these were too, but the metal underneath is a copper type color.

There are things to like, and things not to like. It looks and feels like a toy, and I honestly thought it wouldn't do a good job of mixing, but it has seemed ok in that regard. It just takes a while, especially if you are working with butter in your dough. It's also flimsy - the attachments are SO THIN, and the numbers on the speed switch wiped completely off by the second use. It's lightweight however, which is nice, and it does stand up nicely when you need to set it down. It's been two months, so...we'll see how long it lasts!

This appliance works as described. It's lightweight but strong as advertised. I have not yet used the dough hooks and probably would not because I prefer to knead yeasted dough the old fashioned way. But it works well, from egg whites and whipped cream to cookie dough and I am happy with this product.

**UPDATE** I was wrong about the Turbo setting. I used it before on a thin, watery batter. When I used it with a cake mix, the Turbo did work really well - not too crazy powerful to splash the batter, but enough to give it that little boost of speed.This isn't fancy, but it will do the small jobs I need it for. The "Turbo" setting doesn't seem to do anything, at least not on the very thin batter I used it for.The attachments are much thinner than what I am used to, but I like the streamlined look of them. It's a nice-looking unit and I love the red color. This mixer seems as if it could be stood up fairly sturdily on a counter but does not rest at an angle. I think that I will always just lay it down and use my spoon rest catch any drippings.The mixer is light enough for me to use even with my weaker hand strength and the power is good. Not having a better way to stand this up between use when cooking is the one thing that could be better.Despite the few shortcomings - no stand and no resting angles - it's well worth the $22 tag.

Après quelques utilisations, tout va bien et est un peu plus rapide et même robustesse que mon ancien Kitchenaid de même dimension et est aussi résistant . Il faut y aller doucement pour accrocher les fouets régulier car je crois qu' à long terme, il pourrait devenir délicat. Pour 25$, c'est winner !!!

I bought this product to make homemade pizza dough. Very good product given the cheap price. However, not giving 5 stars due to rotation speed of whisks - There are 3 different speeds, however all are extremely fast. I would have liked to have a slow speed which is actually slow. If you dont need slow speed, then this product is 5 stars

This mixer is good looker for the price. The design is nice and it works fine, but if you are hoping to get more power from the turbo button, don’t bother. It basically stays at level 5 even when you engage the turbo button. But overall it does what a small mixer should do, and it is very cute doing it.

Very stylish looking, just love the chrome color bright, it also comes with five accessories, very handy and easy change in one button. It works perfectly when I first use, with 5 different speed settings and one turbo switch make my cooking more enjoyable. Compared with other brand name ? This little machine worths every penny, over my expectations!

Product arrived as described with all the attachments, and it worked well. I've yet to run into something that gives this little guy any trouble! I will however note that the attachments are rather flimsy, and if you have prior attachments from previous mixers to use those if it fits well, but they still get the job done!

Was so happy to get this item! IT ALSO CAME EARLY !!Works brilliantly. I find the low speed actually be good enough for most projects. Easy to eject the pieces.I must note I was worried about the shape of some of the beaters - they're not what I've seen in past units. Felt cheap at first glance. However, they worked perfectly and I, personally, found them easier to clean off. Would have loved something to put them in but for now just resuing the box!

Lightweight, powerful and dirty cheap. What else do you need?I have opened it to check if internal parts are in a good shape after a year of use and was quite surprised about quality of that mixer. Very well and solid made!

Unboxed the unit, plugged it in, turned it on, and absolutely nothing happened. Tried several walll sockets, various attachments, different speeds, nothing. Will return and try a different brand.

Has barely enough power to turn the flimsy whisks, I turned it on and then you just know it's not make for cookie dough.

works great and was great price. unfortunately after arrived i liked so much went to order another and had doubled in price by then. guess should have ordered when was such a deal. fairly new to amazon and still figuring things out

The finger sleeves are fine but my fingers sweat. The recipe book is a gift and the mixer is also fine.

Absolutely love this mixer! I use it for batters and icing and whipping other foods and it does the job. Powerful job for such a small instrument!

I think this is a good buy because it has the dough hook too. However the cardboard box was not very durable because it came apart within the first couple of days.

The product arrived earlier than I expected and its quality is very good. I'm happy to have it purchased.
