No more messy ink cartridges
Excellent printer overall. Very easy to set up. Large paper tray for less frequent paper loading. Very fast with clear printing. No more worries with ink drying out. Suits our needs well as this is not a frequently used printer. Not overly large either. Highly recommended.

Great small multifunctional unit
Compact wireless printer scanner copier. My usage is extremely low but wanted a sturdy unit that is reliable and quick for the times I do need to print 20-30 pages. This has been great so far

Super easy Install
Unpacked the box followed the VERY SIMPLE instructions and within maybe 12-15 minutes was printing through my network. Hooked right up to wifi with zero issues!! I'm not a tech person at all. This process could not have been any easier (Not like some other brands) Highly recommend this printer!!

So disappointed and first time had to return a printer. I had HP printers for the last 30 yrs.
This is my 4th HP Printer. I never had problems with the prior ones except that they got old. So I still got an HP printer. 1st 2 had no wireless connection and no scanner, but still worked (15+ yrs) . 3rd one, ink issues after10 yrs of use. The set up was a breeze on this one since I had the HP smart app already. Updated the app, software, and drivers etc. The test page(1) was great and every test page after. Tried it a few times during set up and while trouble shooting. However, when I started printing more than 2 pages, the 3rd one was entirely a black page. tried printing only that page and it was still black (no text). I checked the toner cartridge for defects, cracks or possible jam - none. It was clean and free of any debris. After following online troubleshoot, and after 5 black pages, I decided to return this. I wasted so much time trying to make it work.

Great printer, slow scanner
It’s a very good printer. Prints fast, easy to connect.the only problem is that you can only scan one page at a time And the scanner is kind of slow. Other than that is a good acquisition.

Price and size
Works very well once set up. Tired of ink cartridges drying up. Just needed black to print no color..

Impressive!
I am someone who got tired of buying expensive ink cartridges for inkjet printers that would dry out if not used regularly, especially in the winter, so I decided I could live with just a black & white printer and switched to a laser printer. After reviewing a number of them, I decided on this one, especially since it was a really good price before Christmas. Some people in their reviews said they had difficulty setting this up, which I don't understand. If you sign in to HP according to the setup instructions and follow them, I think this was the easiest setup of anything that I've ever had! (I've had computers and printers since 1998.) It does not come with a user manual, but the manual can be found online, and I saved it on my iPad. I printed some forms and was surprised that they automatically came out double sided just like the originals. I thought I would have to tell it to print on both sides if that's what I wanted. It was very fast for my home needs and isn't as noisy as the old inkjet printer was. I don't know much else about it yet, but so far I am very impressed!
