will this work on my dog for mosquitoes?

I can't answer 100% yes or no. It depends on the circumstances. I found it helpful to use while walking the dog for 1 hour walks on the local trails. It became impossible for us to go on our daily walks because of mosquito attacks, and the spray definitely allowed us to resume our walks. However, for deep woods or camping situations, I have my doubts it would be very helpful. My goal was to try a spray with no harmful ingredients to animal or human and I applied it very very lightly for short term use.

Does this have any ingredients that are in the mint family?

Active Ingredients: Lemongrass Oil 0.8% Inert Ingredients: Purified Water, Vanillin, Glycerin, Castor Oil, Soya Lecithin, Lemon, Vitamin E 99.2%. This was taken directly from their site. I have found this product to work fantastically on my morse who is severely allergic to bugs. My mare is quite the deva so she runs from anything eith chemical smell. This one smells great and she readily accepts it. It not only REPELS the gnats and no-seeums but it keeps them from biting as well. I will always have this on my shelf because I can use it on myself, as well.

Rubbish Soother!!!

Bought this product based on the publicity that it had generated, big mistake as it is totally useless.The deterrent effect lasts around 5 minutes and then the bugs return. I reapplied and same effect. Totally useless product,.
