Four years I’ve been paying an insane amount for La Mer facial products. I was looking for something to do a deeper cleansing and dry skin cell removal. I just happened to see this product and purchased it. I have made several purchases of this particular product which I find is amazing! I am now venturing out into a couple other products, the deep cleansing facial oil and the deep cleanser. They are amazing for my skin. As I near 60 years old, I am so delighted to find a product that is working well to keep my skin looking fresh and healthy.

I've been using Peter Thomas Roth enzyme peel for years. It's a standard part of my skin care routine, exfoliating one to two times per week, getting rid of that dead layer of skin, all a part of my skin cycling, etc.Rather than spend the $60 for Peter Thomas Roth, I was very fortunate to find this product and the price point makes my wallet smile. While the formulas are still different, the effect is generally the same. Absolutely love this product and I will be purchasing more in the future!I hope this review is helpful

For a lesser known brands, this product is actually really good. I used Dr. G's and a lemon one before, but they were more expensive and I exfoliate every few days in the shower because I have oily skin, I use it between the oil based cleanser which I apply before my shower, and then after using this, I use the foaming cleanser because that makes sense to me.I am one of those weird people who like to see the results as it works, because it's satisfying to see. And it does that really well, you can use it on your neck and body and it'll do the same thing. I will likely buy this again. There's not much smell to it that I noticed so it's not overpowering like some can be.My only complaint is that the amount is product in there and how much to really apply it on your face to cover it. You run out pretty quickly if you use the product often.

10x better than PTR enzyme exfoliator, this is my new staple, highly recommended.

I keep this as part of my secrets to glowing skin. It’s much easier than those “ glass skin” masks. This truly does dry down so you can sleep in it and BAM 💥 in the morning you got all the glow for a fraction of the price. It’s so fun 🤩

Love this peel, I came across a korean snail mucin enzyme peel and I have YET to find something comprable, however this seemed pretty closed. I did an Elf enzyme peel, then this and it exfoliated a lot better!

This just arrived today so this is truly my first impression experience. Spoiler alert: I’m wowed. There also aren’t any instructions that I could read on the packaging, so I did what I have done with similar products in the past (I think it was b0scha maybe?)I’m late 30s, I have pretty good skin bc I avoid the sun like the plague, don’t smoke or vape, and have used spf religiously since my childhood. My skin is normal, leaning dry. To give you a reference point, I don’t get oily, so I don’t necessarily need to powder my makeup, but I usually do to get rid of any product tackiness. My biggest concerns are larger pores in my t zone, redness in my cheeks, and dark circles.On clean, dry skin, and with dry hands, I applied about a nickel sized amount. It comes out much faster than you’d expect, as the texture is a super watery gel, so don’t hold it entirely upright when you squeeze it lol. I just barely put my fingers on my face and IMMEDIATELY this stuff started to ball up all the dead skin on my face. And I apparently don’t exfoliate very well bc it was disgusting but also really satisfying. LolAfterwards, I applied my normal skincare (essence, eye cream, peptide moisturizer), and my skin is baby smooth. I’m getting ready for bed, but I can only imagine how well makeup would go on right now. I also tried it on the back of my hands and it made them super smooth! I feel like Tom Haverford with his raw chicken hands (parks & rec fan, iykyk).Time will tell if there’s any long term pore improvements, but I am def going to keep using it. I’d recommend this probably once a week so you don’t over do it.Pics for reference.
