I originally got this to scrape the sides of bowls when baking or pouring, but I use this for sooo many things. Making scrambled eggs, porridge, lentils, rice and general mixing--essentially it can act as an alternative to a wooden spoon. And of course it properly scrapes down the sides of pots and bowls! It's also amazing to get every last grain out of the pot or rice cooker.Also, the design is solid and homogenous with no gaps or places for food to get stuck. I've had another spatula with metal in-between both ends and over time this is where the utensil ends up falling/breaking apart or just collecting grime in general.It honestly is pricey, but it's worth it for the quality and utility and I'm definitely going to replace my other utensils with the other DI ORI cooking utensils.

I like its form, its quality of material, its texture and it is solid enough to scoop things up. However, it loses one star for odours stick on it pretty quickly when I am cooking pasta sauce with it.

I literally never write reviews but can’t recommend this spatula enough so thought I’d make an exception.Firstly the spatula is a fantastic size, easily holds up to managing 1.5kg of cookie dough (don’t ask), flawless non stick silicone (unlike other ‘non stick silicone’ products I’ve used in the past that seem to adhere to everything they touch), super easy to clean thanks to the quality of the product.I actually ordered one at the start of the year, fell in love and used it non stop every day as part of a small baking start up, and my old spatulas just weren’t in the same league (sounds silly but honestly true). After 4-5 months of non stop use and abuse, my original spatula developed a fault in that the silicone tip sheared away from the inner metal rod (probably because I was hand mixing huge quantities of heavy dough). I sent pictures to Di Oro and they sent me a replacement that arrived the next day.Cannot thank Di Oro enough for not only an amazing product (I have since bought 2 more as they’re that useful) but also their top notch customer service too.Avoid the cheap Chinese knockoffs and treat yourself to a spatula that feels and does exactly as it should, in full knowledge that Di Oro stand by their lifetime guarantee and will replace in the extremely unlikely instance of damage/fault in the product.Cheers guys!
