This product does what I need it to do. I use it on my sliding door so my very large dog can go outside when she wants. It works well, but not forever and I didn't expect it to last forever. I would have used one of those more permanent dog doors, but she need an extra large and no human can exit that door when it's there, so this screen works. It last for about 4 months and it is very inexpensive. I just install a new one when it gets all raggy from the constant use. The only thing that is a problem is I live in the desert, so it gets very hot here. The adhesive don't work well in the high temps. I bought extra velcro strips to replace as needed. I always have a spare ready when I need to replace it. I think it's a good product. Considering that my 100+ lbs dog uses it multiple times a day and it last for a good 4 months is a plus.

I bought this Magic Mesh Elite because I was tired of my door being a revolving portal for every fly, gnat, and possibly a small bat named Kevin. I don’t know where Kevin is now, but thanks to this screen, he’s not in my kitchen anymore. I installed this mesh in the doorway between my laundry room and garage.Installing this thing was easier than trying to explain Social Media to my uncle. Slap it up, press the Velcro like you're sealing a burrito, and boom — instant magic doorway that opens and closes like it’s got something to prove. Okay. It's a little more than that, putting it up. It is easy to do, though. The package comes with instructions. They are very easy to read. The installation was quick and easy. After sticking the push pins in place, I used a hammer just to make sure they wouldn't come out easily. You probably won't need a hammer. I just have weak thumbs. Lol. I'm short too, so I needed my son to reach to top of the door frame for me.It works well. The magnets snap shut faster than I do when someone says, “calm down.” It's dog friendly. My dog sprinted through it like he was in a slow-motion Olympic montage — majestic, dramatic, and 100% unbothered by the mesh. It closed right behind him like it didn’t even care. No flapping. No fuss. Just a “psshhh” and it’s sealed like Fort Knox for bugs.If you want to feel like a wizard every time you walk through your patio, this is it. And if you're a bug, consider this your eviction notice.

I ordered this because my children can't seem to figure out how to close the sliding door. I have four kids, and now that it is summer there is a pretty constant rotation coming in and out. This seemed like a possible fix to the issue, as it would keep the bugs out but make it possible for the kids to come and go without me needing to constantly remind them to shut the door.Functionally, this has been great so far for our family! It allows the kids and the dog to walk through easily, then the magnets ensure that it closes automatically. Installation was really simple, and the directions included are very clear. I removed the screen door from the sliding door and installed this on the outside of the door, and it is the perfect width and length. Between the magnets there are small gaps, but none big enough that we have had any bugs come in yet. It definitely simplifies summer play and removes my concerns about a gaping door,The only thing I haven't been thrilled with is that the mesh stitching is frayed in the center (where the magnets are located) making a constant supply of loose strings in the center of the door. I have been able to just pull them off without it seeming to detract from the effectiveness of the screen, but it causes a lot of drama when everyone thinks they have a spiderweb on their shoulder after walking through the door! Eventually I anticipate the door losing enough threads that it will start to cause issues with the structural integrity, but so far that hasn't been a problem and I have seven kids (my own and their friends), myself, and a dog that are using it constantly.

We purchased this item so that in warmer weather our family and dogs could go and come without using a traditional screen door and hopefully limit the amount of bugs that came in. on first inspection the netting seemed very poor quality. the stitching holding the thicker netting with the magnets to the lighter screen is very thin and just one stitch wide with the stitches being farther apart. the thicker net began to unravel before we even hung it up. I hoped that it would hold and I wanted to fully test it out so I hung it. I was continually cutting off strings that were coming off of the netting by the magnets. the bottom of the screen is very light and when the wind blows the two sides separate and can be difficult to get back together. Today when I opened the door I found that the magnetic netting on one side was no longer attached to the screen. the product arrived at my house April 6. I installed it April 8th and today is May 12th. So it lasted just over a month. very disappointing. I know this was not an expensive product however I was thinking it would at least make it through the summer. I was able to use staples to reattach it so it will last a few days until a different door comes in.the screen did come with velcro strips to attach it however I did not use them. I have a white Pella sliding door and I did not want to have sticky residue attached to it so I purchased nano tape also from amazon to attach it. I cut pieces similar to the ones that it came with only I cut more. I felt it did not come with enough for a good seal. I folded the edges of the screen to better fit the door space. the tape adhered very well to the netting and continued to hold it. i removed a few of the nano tape strips to see how it would come off and it came off fairly easy but most importantly it left NO RESIDUE on my sliding door trim. I will be ordering a different door but using nano tape again to attach it.
