Q: How does this product affect plants and trees?

I don't know about plants and trees I had a garden snake under my pool filter and once I used Bonide Snake stopper as well as spread around my fence the snake left and have not had a snake return in 2 years. It did not harm my grass. I'm sure you could contact the manufacturer but I'm inclined to think it is ok. I looked at the container I have and it specifically says you can use in gardens. The powder also does not harm the snake it merely makes them leave. Hope this helps. If I had a snake in my garden I would not hesitate to spread around the mulch in my garden if I have a snake I want out of my yard.

That's why I got it, and it worked. I applied it in midsummer, and the lizards left immediately. They still haven't returned nine months later.

You will need to ask the manufacturer. In my opinion, this product does not work. I have seen just as many lizards and snakes as before use. I have found a solution to snake avoidance... cut ropes! Place snake-sized ropes around the pond, snakes will avoid, thinking they are other snakes, as they are very territorial. 👍
