So far so good
I've had the 27" monitor for just over a month and so far so good. One great thing about it: I can work with two documents side by side. I've even done some video editing. It is not supposed to be great for that, but for my untrained eye... it's been great. I would recommend it.

22" monitor
Nice 22" monitor has all 3 video connectors VGA, HDMI & Display has speakers and good volume level controls at bottom right good over all good price. Doesn't like my KVM switch if I am on an unused line it just keeps cycles the monitor out of range all the time by accident I found out if I had a HDMI to DVI converter on the cable was working on PC that didn't have HDMI only DVI so had to use converter when I disconnected box to do something inside I noticed the monitor shut off son now I keep a HDMI to DVI adapter connected to the # PC 4 connector on the KVM switch to solve that problem.

Good addition to my docked laptop setup
After about 2 months of use my overall impression of this monitor is good. I use it with a 14 inch laptop connected to a docking station. Images are good and I like having enough screen real estate to have two separate windows open side by side. I don't think the speakers are bad, about like an average PC. I think those that have complained about low volume haven't discovered the control on the bottom right edge, adjusting this helps a lot. I have had a problem of no sound through the speakers and have to restart my PC to get it back. I'm connected using a Displayport cable but a pop up window shows connected by HDMI, no idea why. My only major dissatisfaction is with Viewsonic Corp (my Amazon purchase was from them). Their customer service for sales is poor, they should probably stick to manufacturing, retail sales and service isn't their game. My shipment was delayed days past the original ship date and their CSR sent me a meaningless, poorly thought out response to my email on the subject. Also, when I tried to register the monitor on the Viewsonic website the dreaded 404 Error appeared, tech companies should have good IT departments. Buy the monitor but the sales experience has got to be better elsewhere.

Picture Perfect!
Very happy with the monitor. Looked ultra sharp in 4K 3840 x 2160 but I decided to use the better then 2K resolution of 2560 x 1440 which some call QHD. I like the overall type size in this setting although you can scale the type sizing with the display controls. I stream basketball and Netflix and the picture is outstanding. It has a brightness level of 400 which is better than most. With HDR 10 the scene is very natural. I am a senior and the option to easily turn down blue light is much appreciated. My only issue is that the refresh rate is always 60hz. I thought it might increase when reducing resolution but it does go to 75hz at resolutions significantly under 2K which I think is more of a gaming resolution although I might get better results with a different graphics card. Not sure I would notice a difference at a higher resolution because this is a picture perfect monitor as it is. Well worth the extra cost.

Just OK
I have purchased VeiwSonic monitors for years. As a sysadmin I bought them when I needed a "better" monitor. This monitor does not seem to be of the same quality as those I had previously purchased. It's OK, but not exceptional. The OSD menu is bought up using what is referred to as the joystick (I/O) button on the back of the monitor. The button is actually a mini joystick that you move to click the selected OSD menu options. I suppose this saves money but seems a bit odd when you are accustomed to a separate button(s) to brings up the settings menu. Even the VS manual does not explain this clearly. Otherwise, as I said it's OK, probably better for an inexpensive gaming monitor than a detail oriented work monitor.
