A simple comfort I can take anywhere
Excellent in the bath after a long day on my feet. They come in handy during pedicures and at the spa. I also use them when I’m teaching yoga or doing a massage, it improves the biofeedback from my feet and makes me aware of my posture. This is my second pair, had the first for years and they finally gave out. Well worth it to replace.

The best toe spacers…
Great toe spacers. Well made, and two sizes come in an attractive wooden storage box. This is my second pair, I used the first for 4 years before wearing them out. Great value for a very reasonable price.

I did try on the small pair so I would know what they felt like before placing them on my son
I purchased these toe separators for my son who is severely cognitively delayed. Consequently, he cannot tell me what he thinks of them, and my review is based mostly on my observations. This lack of firsthand, extended experience with the product is why I gave it four stars instead of five. With that said, I did try on the small pair so I would know what they felt like before placing them on my son. They are soft and quite cushion-y. I felt comfortable placing the small size on his foot (left only as it is the problematic one) to help with progressive toe deformities related to his cerebral palsy and neurologic damage. They help place his toes correctly which in turn help with his foot curvature and provides a more solid base on which to walk. His left foot wants to curve inward into a "C" shape and causes him to walk on the side of his foot which in turns impacts the quality of his balance.I have placed the toe separators on his left foot for a little over two weeks now for approximately 1-2 hours per day. Even though he is non-verbal, I know his every sound and facial expression. He has not indicated any discomfort with the toe separators for this duration of daily use.I chose these Yogabody Toe Spreaders after extensively reading the reviews and honing in on the fact that customers said they were comfortable enough to walk in. This has also been my experience both in my personal test run and my son's use of the product. Since I want him to practice walking and weight bearing with appropriate foot formation, they really need to be comfortable. They can be worn inside a very wide shoe. Since I want my son to be able to wear them inside his AFO's (custom fitted braces), I did have to trim off the two smallest toe holes with a pair of scissors to achieve this goal. (Sorry, Yogabody, for revamping the product, but in the world of special needs, innovation is critical.) His big toe and the two toes next to it are the most affected and are curling under as well as forming a hammer toe situation. This reduction by two toe holes allows him to wear them while in his braces and provides all the structure and support that I am desiring to re-train his foot. I realize our use of these toe separators is somewhat unusual, but I am pleased with the quality, wash-ability and comfortableness. If my plan works and they help salvage my son's mobility, I will be beyond delighted. If my plan fails, I am still impressed with the product. The small size works best for both my son and I. He wears a size 8 in men's shoes, and I wear a size 8 in women's shoes just to give you some idea. If I order more, I would see if I could get two pairs of small instead. As for the beautiful, little wood box they come in, I like it! It is a stylish and convenient way to store the toe separators when not in use.

So much more comfortable than I thought!
I was super worried about three things when buying Awesome Toes. 1. Material 2. Size 3. Wearability.I am desperate for relief but skeptical since some folks reported similar products being too firm or too curved. The texture is perfect for me. I have hypermobile joints so I was worried about joint strain. I tried a bunion correction brace that pulls from the outside, but it hurts my toe joint too much. These are a little painful when you’re “getting used to them” but like shoes, you wear them for an hour or a few hours every day, and your feet become adjusted to the shape and the way your foot lands.1. The material is firm but squishy silicone and doesn’t feel itchy at all. They don’t make my feet extra sweaty either. Huge plus.2. My feet are super narrow and I have long toes. It’s the worst for most foot related things because they end up being too big for my foot. The Awesome Toes come with two pairs of sizes and fit my narrow W7.5 US perfectly. I love the way my toes feel in them. I move the spacers up around my joints to get more spread sometimes.3. I wear them around the house with socks. Painful with slippers, but super comfy with crocs. My doctor said if your shoe fits your toes with the spreaders ON, then the shoe is wide enough for bunion relief. I am finding no fit in any shoe except crocs and Buffalo platforms, because my foot is so narrow. I guess I’ll have to grow with the concept of changing my shoe imprint, but that’s okay. These are so worth it. I feel stupid for not buying them three months ago. I’ve been wearing them for maybe a couple weeks and when worn after doing my foot strengthening exercises, my pain has improved a lot compared to the previous months. I’m walking a lot more now, and standing isn’t as bad.I use a single toe spacer for sleep and my shoes which has a bit more forgiveness in width. The Awesome Toes are a little intense at first so I am still adjusting slowly.
