Is this the k2 mk7 version because in the ingredients it says menaquinone but mk7 is menaquinone-7

There seem to be a number of menaquinone variants depending on the position of the attachment point to the quinone structure (so all MK's are a MK-n - where n is the position of attachment) - I came across MK-4, MK-7, MK-8 & MK-9 ... however the MK-7 variant seems to be the one that has the most important function in the coagulation cascade. Although the product I received had only 100mcg of K2 (MK-7) and not the 200mcg the product describes, the paperwork does say it's the long-chain MK-7 variant. The last but one image has a nutritional information panel which does state MK-7.

In of themselves, the tablets are small and unlikely to cause weight gain. If you are in a malnourished state then the improvement may bring in some necessary weight rebalanced but I would not expect unnecessary weight gain. The improvements in health, energy and calcium balance are certainly desirable outcomes.

Why are the photos of this tablet yellow, yet some folks report they are white? Is that yellow from neurotoxic tartrazine?

A previous bottle had white tablets, the latest bottle contains yellow. I suspect it might be from the tumeric talc, although I am not a pharmacist and couldn't be certain. I guess from the tone of your question you won't be purchasing these anyway as you suspect they contain some kind of neurotoxin, however, that would probably contravene some EU law or other.

General Maintenance

A good supplement for general maintenance for Vitamin D3/K2 levels. Its easy to swallow and the pills are a good small size. If you are deficient, I would recommend taking 2 a day.

These are as described. They tablets are tiny so very easy to swallow. No taste, no smell, no lingering aftertaste. Good value for money. I think these are effective. Perhaps I have better energy levels. I have felt the so called negative effect of a dip in appetite, which has meant I have lost a bit of weight!! They do seem to cause a bit of constipation too though, so be mindful of that.
