It didn't take much probably about an hour or so and the color is potent !!!. stayed almost a whole month which is unusual for natural organic and pure henna.I sure will be buying again from this seller

Love this indigo product for hair coloring. It’s a natural product and works excellent. Be sure to first apply henna and then indigo for getting the black hair color. I have used for more than an year now and it works as advertised

Keeping the reviews for Henna and Indigo together is cheating the customers. The Indigo doesn't work. I have tried applying this indigo in so many different ways, watched hundreds of youtube videos, but this indigo is not changing the color of my hair to blue or black. Picture of my last attempt where I mixed it with henna 50-50 ratio. Henna coloring you can see, but, the indigo had no effect. The henna I used is not from this company - it was bought from the local Indian grocery store.

Uodate: after using nearly half the bag in experimenting with different water and different temperature, you must use warm distilled water. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and use immediately when you see the dye release start on top. I would recommend leaving it on or at least two hours unless you want a lighter color. After many different experiments, this was the only way that the guy would release and adhere to my hair. There were a couple times the dye would release, but it would not adhere to my hair. Increased to 3 stars because it finally worked but it was hassle & I had to walk around with only half my hair reddish orange like a pumpkin for a bit….Original: Absolutely useless. Did a dye release test & it’s not bluish like indigo should be, it’s green. Waste of money.

I am a colorist and this is the best henna I have tried here in years.
