Water Heater Pilot Assembely Includes Pilot Thermocouple and Tubing LP Propane

The Item came as promised and was exactly what i was looking for i would highly recommend this item

Everyone I spoke with said my water heater was too old and would have to be replaced. After doing my own trouble shooting and research, I purchased this assembly. With very slight modification (drilling out the holes as the bracket was on the opposite side from the original) this mounted right in and solved the problem. All the fittings went right together with the original ports on my propane water heater.

It works great and is worth the money but you should know that it’s noisy and uses a lot of fuel (hence the four instead of five stars). Fine for a fire pit but a little aggressive for a water heater. I was faced with having to buy a new fire pit because of the irregular size of the original pilot line.

As there are many configurations of these things, this was the closest to what I need but has a different mounting arrangement (an older AO Smith heater that they don't make parts for anymore). Once I cut away some of the mounting hardware and attached it to the old one, I was able to mount it in place. It worked immediately, and has done it's job ever since.

I have ordered several of these ignitors online to repair my rv hot water tank. While this particular one has the correct mount plate and tube length, the nut was too big for the orifice. That's something I rarely get to say. Part numbers said this would work with my unit. But as I mentioned, my unit isn't getting any satisfaction.

No issues, just had to drill out one of the mounting holes a bit so the original screw could be reused. Worked like a champ. Some folks complained about the larger pilot flame, but hardly makes a difference in gas usage. The heat is absorbed by your tank of water, anyway, so who cares. Fixed our 20+ year old water heater just fine.

Bought the products and when it came, I knew it wouldn’t fit, didn’t even open it. Try to return it but it would not let me return it.. Keeps telling me to try to fix it.

I needed a new pilot light/thermocouple assembly in a 160K BTU propane heater in my shop. I wasn't 100% certain this would work, but it was so cheap, I thought, "Why not give it a try?"Once it arrived at the house, I had to modify it for my particular installation; I drilled and tapped a hole perpindicular to the location of the factory holes in the mounting bracket. This modification took only a few minutes and once I was finished I hooked it up. It was super-easy to install and it's now been operating continuously for a couple of weeks. I have had zero issues.If you think you need this, buy it! I don't think you will be disappointed.Long-term update: this has been in continuous operation for almost five months with no problems. Very happy with my purchase.
