Great but invest in better straps
Pad itself is really great. Does not slip. Stirrups are great (especially for the price) but replace the straps with leather/hole buckle before using the pad. Straps slip when mounting and you’re wang-jangling the strap to adjust while mounted; not ideal!

Great, except the stirrups!
Cinch is huge, and you will likely have to punch a few holes for it to fit properly. However for almost $120 I'd expect the stirrup 'leathers' to be a little more sturdy. They loosen with hardly any pressure applied and it's overall an odd design choice for stirrups of all things, and I will be swapping them out for something different and safer.Other than that the pad is nice. It's comfortable and the color is vibrant, and the pockets are a nice addition. They can fit a water bottle!

AMAZING! Just get it
I love trail riding but not all saddles are comfy for all day rides. I ride english, either hunter/jumper or dressage and don't like riding in a western saddle. This pad is perfect for all day trail rides. My mare is a bit like a couch, she's half Friesian and a little spicy but a blast to ride. I attached my stirrups because the stirrups this comes with suck and probably wouldn't stay on so I just put my regular ones on it. It's super comfy, not hot, my mare likes it, I like that if I need them the stirrups are there (steep hills or jumping logs). I wish the handle was a little bigger but that's what the mane is for lol. Overall just get it, you won't be unhappy. Oh if the girth it comes with doesn't fit just grab a western buckle cinch. It didn't fit my friend's gelding so we borrowed a western cinch and poof it fit perfectly.

It’s ok!
The pad itself was a nice pad but the stirrups are too far forward and they are attached to the pad so you can move them using a sewing machine. The stirrups are small more like for English riders.

Just what I was looking for!
I purchased this and 3 days later it arrived. I was able to use it today for the first time!! Absolutely love it!! I purchased because I wanted something easy for a short ride, plus I love bareback riding but can’t go as far as I would like. This is really comfortable, sturdy, stays in place, after a few new hole punches for the girth. The stirrups fit my boots nicely but I need to do something because they will slip slightly, I just didn’t put my entire body weight after the first slip. This seems like it will hold up for a while! I rode about 3 miles, I was only going to ride about 15 minutes to test it, but it was so awesome I kept going! I believe my horses thanks me for this LOL. Did I mention there is no squeaking as with my western saddle! I can hear what’s going on around me, it was great to hear then watch the deer jump out in front of us!

WAY big
It is impossible to get this pad to cinch properly. The strap and cinch is way too big. The straps for the stirrups also slip with any pressure applied. Not being able to put my feet in and it not being tight enough makes it completely useless. I would rather go through the process of saddling up then use this again.

Love it just needed to add holes for the cinch
I have a 14ish hand paso fino who hated her gated saddle. As much as I love bareback I'm tired of having a dirty butt when I get off. She was super comfortable in this bareback saddle and the sweat was even on both sides. It didn't move a bit, if your seat is centered sliding left or right shouldn't happen. The stirrups were good quality too, but I'm going to switch them out for western stirrups specifically from my winter saddle. Only thing I agree with is that the cinch is pretty long. We added more holes with a soldering iron that did the trick perfectly.

Very comfy !
Great saddle pad ! It’s comfortable and stays in place. The girth was way too long for my 16h QH and the stirrups would only fit a child ( I’m 5-6” tall). I used my own girth and purchased stirrup leathers so that I could use the pad. I purchased this because of the non-slip underside and for the pockets that I can hold a drink on one side and treats for my boy on the other. I will be purchasing in other colors !! Riding in a bareback pad is more comfortable than I would have imagined and my seat has immensely improved since I’ve been riding in it. Highly recommend !!
