Great simple movement shoe
I normally wear a 9 street shoe, but I usually size down for dance/movement, so the 8.5 suited me fine. Comfortable and a great deal for the price! Suited my performance well. Since I went a little smaller, the tightening cord wasn’t necessary, but I was able to tuck them in easily in case I need them in the future. And I have such high arches that the split sole hugged perfectly. Very impressed and would buy again if I need it!

challenging getting the size right with online ordering
The quality is fine, but the fit is tricky. Buying local when you can try with different size, style, and brands is really a much better way to get dancing shoes. But, of course, you can't beat the price online. I recommend this slippers only if you are very certain about the size. The regular shoe size really does not offer enough help since dance shoes require a lot of details to best fit.

True to size
I purchased a size 8 and it fits true to size. I use them for Barre class, am new to it and these shoes provide much comfort and prevent slippage. Am very satisfied.

Im giving the flats 2stars because i was disappointed when the size that arrived was not a womens size..it was a little girls size. However, i was able to return them and promptly received a refund. The quality and material looked great and overall, 5stars are deserved for customer service and good craftsmanship, so ill split the difference with 2stars. On the other hand, i thought that maybe id read it wrong but there are pictures of women wearing the flats and the title reads: “ballet shoes for women, girls canvas flat”. There should be a separate option specifically for women sizes to avoid picking the wrong ones.

Great for wearing gowns
Wore these as part of a medieval costume. Very comfortable. Great for wearing to and from the car and while dancing inside!

Good value, fit well
The dancer in the family was very happy with her new dance shoes. She said they fit well and were very comfortable. They appear well made with quality fabric and good stitching. Definitely a good value for the money.

Great value
My 6th grader dances 5 days a week and is hard on her shoes. While I started off buying brand name shoes, these have been a saving grace! You can't tell from the outside (or inside) that they are some random buy off Amazon, and they are affordable enough that I can replace them easily as needed. She can't tell a difference, so it's a win-win.
