WOW! What An Amazing & Accurate Weight Scale For Such A Cheap Price!
One of the first things you learn about selling online, is that shipping companies, like the USPS, require precise weight measurements, otherwise they throw a fit. The cost of shipping goes by weight and distance to be shipped, so they want it to be accurate. You don't want to get overcharged on shipping, so its best to get it right the first time.I saw commercial scales that cost well into the hundreds, but I am not a big company, so I don't need one of those. I saw this nifty little unit for around 17 dollars, now selling for 19 dollars at the time of this review. I also saw mostly all positive reviews for this unit, so I thought what the heck, why not give it a try. One of the biggest selling points for this scale, is while it can use batteries, and comes with some included, it can be wall powered as well. This is a major plus for me, as I don't intend on going through batteries, just to make a battery manufacture richer off my back. I also like the fact that the unit has a LARGE and LIGHTED display, that is another major plus! I find it is quite easy to read, and I don't have any issues with it. All the controls are pretty self explanatory, but I will go over them to be thorough. On the left side of the unit, is the measurement mode selection, depending on what type of measurement you need, you select it there. On the top left of the unit, is the ON/OFF button. On the top right of the unit, you have the ZERO button, for zeroing pit the display. And on the right side of the unit, you have the HOLD button, which holds the measurement value, after you have removed the item you are weighing, off the scale, which is helpful for when weighing oversized packages. For this review, I measured a gallon of distilled water, measures to 8 pounds 8 ounces, WOW, their filler machines must be as accurate as this scale, I'm impressed. Then I measured 2 quarts or 90 ounces of a popular dish detergent, which I blurred out the name for copyright reasons, and it measured out to 6 pounds and 4.2 ounces. As you can see, this scale works out well! The top half of the scale can open up like a lid, to hold oddball objects as well. One of the issues that I've noticed from many negative reviews, just in general, for weight scales sold on Amazon, is that many people appear, to not understand the accuracy of the scales, as per their weight capacities. If you buy a kitchen scale that is rated for grams and ounces, its only going to be accurate up to a few pounds. If you buy this scale that is rated for 50-pounds max capacity, its only really going to be accurate between a few ounces, up to that 50-pounds.I saw a review for a 440 pound weight scale, and the guy gave it a huge negative review, because he was bothered by the fact, it couldn't be accurate to weigh things that are only a few ounces. Its like dude, the scale was rated for 440 pounds max capacity, which means that its accuracy, probably only begins to be accurate around the 50 pound mark. So the point I am trying to make is, know the type of items that you are going to be weighing, then buy the scale that will be the most accurate for those weights.I have had no issues with this scale whatsoever, and I highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars!

Great scale and good price
I needed a scale to ship items I’m now selling online. So far the scale is pretty accurate and I didn’t have to break the back on this. Like how you can flip up the top part to place items on. So far I haven’t needed to weigh anything over 30lbs and the size of items have been on point and no issues. Great scale for shipping.

Portable but Mighty Scale
This scale is solid, yet portable that you can bring it anywhere. I bought this scale because I wanted to start selling used clothes and stuffs around the house that I do not use anymore. It was a great buy. This scale is affordable and easy to use. You can change the weight units and reset the weight to zero easily. This little scale can also hold up to 50 lbs, which is pretty decent for its size. Highly recommend!

Easy to Use and Very Precise
This scale is super easy to use and incredibly accurate. It came with batteries and an AC adapter, which is a huge plus. I use it daily for weighing packages, and it hasn’t failed me once. The digital display is clear, and the build quality feels solid. Highly recommend for small businesses or home shipping!

Nice Little Helpful Scale
I am doing my Swedish Death Cleaning with Posh Mark and my husband encouraged me to buy a scale to weigh my products instead of using the bathroom scale! (How did I think that was a good idea. Hop on, hop off, then hop on with the item I am selling, hop off.)This scale is, of course, much more accurate and so easy. I am selling a lot of glass inherited and bought over the years, so this little scale is very helpful. So far this is a good product for a good, reasonable price.

Solid scale, but some inaccuracy at lower weights
There is a reason this scale has so many purchases and good reviews - it's a solid scale and you get a good amount of value. It also has a long track record (seemingly unchanged for years). I did some pretty extensive testing with calibrated weights (more on this below), and found that it does have some inaccuracy at lower weights but overall is a solid choice. This scale is rated up to 50lb, and therefore I would expect it to be most accurate in the middle of that range, but maybe not at the very top or bottom. However, I ship a lot of packages that are in the 3-8oz. range so I did some testing to make sure it was accurate at those lower weights.I used known, calibrated weights and found that in the 3-8oz. range the scale did well for a 50lb. max scale. It had an average error of about 0.1-0.15 oz, which is what it's rated for. However, it would sometimes return a weight that was up to 0.3 oz off which could be an issue if your package is very near to a postal rate breakpoint. However, I think in practice most users will be happy despite the occasional inconsistency.I also noticed that it would sometimes change the reading by 0.1oz a few seconds after the initial reading. Again, not a huge issue but if accuracy is a concern you may want to wait a moment to see if it settles on a different number. The display is easy to read, and you have options of displaying the weight in numerous measurements, including pounds and ounces - which is nice for those of us who need to enter that for shipping labels. The tare and hold functions work as expected. This scale can run off of batteries or an AC wall plug. When plugged in the display will remain on. When running on batteries it will auto power off after a few minutes. I expect battery life will be quite good with the auto shutoff but I will be using it on AC power.Despite its slight inconsistency, I chose to keep this scale for its value and features. I hope this review was helpful and will update it if anything changes.
