Way too soft

I bought this 3" mattress topper for my Wolf Pup 16FQ Travel Trailer because the factory installed short queen mattress was not very good and there was a wooden strut directly under the middle of the bed that could be felt when lying on the mattress. I also bought it because it was described as being "firm" which is what my husband prefers. The topper "off gassed" for about a week after we placed it in the RV. When it arrives, it is compressed - so it also needs a few days to reach its full "potential". It appears to be well made and has a nice looking cover. It has 4 corner straps which are meant to wrap around the four corners of the existing mattress for security. We slept on this mattress topper 19 days straight and it became more comfortable each night that passed. Hubs loved it. We use it on our "murphy bed" mattress and we had no trouble folding it up when we put the bed up for the day. I would recommend this mattress topper.

This mattress topper transformed our new mattress in our horse trailer. I just purchased a new mattress for our horse trailer in December based on great reviews on the company’s website (yes my mistake for believing them). The mattress was so hard, I literally couldn’t sleep through the night on it, and I like a firm mattress. The first time I had a chance to sleep on it, was just outside the company’s return window, so now I’m stuck with it. I’m 5’10” about 175 lbs. athletic build and I woke up several times in the night because my hips, shoulders and back were killing me and my nerves were tingling because the mattress was putting pressure on all my pressure points.After a ton of research, I finally broke down and bought this mattress topper in hopes it would save me from having to throw the mattress away and invest in a new mattress. All I can say is, this topper did the trick. It fit our RV queen mattress perfectly and has completely transformed the awful mattress I purchased. I now sleep through the night comfortably and wake up rested and without pain.The topper is perfectly firm. Not too hard, but not so soft that you just sink to the bottom. It makes my bed feel the way I thought it should have from the get go. The cover over the foam makes a huge difference. I’ve used just plain foam mattress covers in the past and the foam tends to get torn and sleeps hot.We’ve only had the topper a few months so I can’t speak to the durability, but so far we’ve experienced no sinking or material issues. I really don’t know what some people are talking about. Yes the topper had an odor to it when I removed the plastic , however, it didn’t “fill the house”. It didn’t make me sick. It had a slight smell to it , so I aired it out for a day . Then I sprayed some scented upholstery spay on it. Let it dry , added my mattress protector and sheet . I can’t smell anything. Honestly , I didn’t even need the spray.I find this topper to be very comfortable and I have had much much better nights sleeping. It’s a perfect fit. I like the quality and firmness. If it were up to me, it might be a tad firmer , but overall it is what you would expect for a foam topper. I’m sleeping much better.

I was MISERABLE trying to sleep on our camper bed. I've tried other toppers with no luck. This has saved me! First, I still have the crappy camper mattress, then a useless 3" blue "cooling" topper, then this wonderful, beautiful thing on top! I researched and this topper is made with denser foam so I am not bottoming out on hips and shoulders. I am a plus size gal, with Psoriatic Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I am now on night number 7 in the camper with this beautiful thing and I sleep like a baby. Better yet, I wake up pain free! Before I could hardly get out of bed and was exhausted every day. By the time I went home from a trip I would immediately fall into bed at home and was out. I know this won't happen again! I am so glad I bought this topper! Thank you for making it, it has truly made a huge difference!

The memory foam this mattress is made of is great. Less than 24 hours and the mattress was at full size after being taken out of package. My only complaint is about the zipper on the cloth covering that keeps the memory foam clean. The zipper has NO piece to grab and pull it open or closed. I had to literally hold onto the little piece that slides in order to zip and unzip it. The zipper itself and the zipper teeth are made out of cheap plastic and when trying to open it once the teeth came apart in one section of it. For the price, this item is a good deal, so long as you don't mind that zipper/cover isn't going to last you too long.

The foam is very comfortable. It did not smell like new foam but for one night. I would recommend buying this topper for the quality of the foam. The reason for 4 stars is the pretty much worthless straps to hold the topper to the mattress. The ends on the corners are too close resulting in the straps not staying around the mattress. I have to reposition the topper back to the center of the mattress every night.

I really like this RUFF 3 inch bed topper. I have a back condition that a too soft mattress makes worst. ( mis- aligned spine) Therefore I need a hard mattress and soften a LIL with a topper. This one is perfect for me. The high density is great. I'm sleeping better and longer because I'm not awakened from pain. No more tossing and turning to find a comfortable position. .....and a few less trips to the chiropractor. My husband has no back issues and he loves this topper too. Thank you RUFF for the high density foam topper.
