Matladin Balance Beam Gymnastics for Home Toddler Kids Carry Bag, Extra Firm Balance Beams Gymnastics Equipment for Practice Training

My daughter is in gymnastics and we needed something small that she could practice at home- but we didn't have space for the bigger/taller ones. I was very hesitant to buy this because I have seen other balance beams like this (that fold out) that are squishy- not ideal for an actual gymnast trying to jump/cartwheel/do handstands. This is a great middle of the road beam- not too squishy- but also not as nice as a full beam (which was expected). Great value for a great price!One use we didn't know- our youngest uses it for PT (learning to step over things/step on things/walk sideways).

This is a beautiful extremely light weight balance beam at a reasonable price but there are two fairly significant issues for us. The first is that the outer material is plush making outdoor use a bad idea. It will collect any and all debris that touches it. Second the fact that it's plush makes it impossible to get back into its carrying case it sticks to the material the bag is made out of. The beam itself is nice so I gave it four stars but I'm kinda leaning into three because we can't use it outside as planned and it's going to be a bear to get in that bag which means the likelihood of it getting put away often is slimmer.

We got this for our little 5 year old who gets PT in school and needs to work on his balance. He enjoys walking across it in our playroom and his big sister loves it for her gymnastics practice. Even mom and dad can use it! It is a great addition to our basement play room and folds up nicely to tuck away in a corner when not in use. We don't wear sneakers or shoes on it and expect that it should last quite a while!

The product is pretty good it’s a little squishy and a little bit wobbly I can’t back handsprings or back tuck on it but I can work on my leaps. It is also pretty short

We got this for our 2 & 4 year old as a Christmas present & continue to be impressed with the quality! It’s very light weight (maybe 3 lbs?), folds in half for easy storage or carrying, and the material isn’t slippery. Can’t speak to the use of this for older kiddos who are trying to practice beam at home, but we love it for what it’s used for in our house! Very happy we went this this one over some of the others we had looked at.

Bought this for my 4 and 5 year old, and they are enjoying the beam very much. Great for getting some exercise indoors and practing.Pros: Folds for storage, wood core makes it sturdier, padding and height make it safe and easy to practice on.Cons: It is a little wobbly, assuming because there are 2 small plastic feet on each end and the hinge in the middle so it is essentially resting on these points.

My 3 year old and 5 year old love playing on this and it's easy for them to move it around to where they want to use it.

Ordered brown color, but got blue instead. My daughter wasn’t happy about the color, but didn’t want to return and wait for the new one. She quickly came to terms with it and happy with her practice. Also the beam itself was softer than expected, so might not work well for older kids/teens. It’s decent quality and light enough for kids to carry. The bag is nice!
