BRANDSLOCK Men Aviator Real Shearling Sheepskin Leather Bomber Flying Jacket

I originally bought the Large. I am 6 foot / 42" chest / broad shoulders / long for my size as I am quite slim (basically completely out of proportion). As a result I found that the Large was too big generally and opted to return for a Medium. Brandslock were absolutely superb with their returns and made it very easy, keeping communication up throughout the whole postage and returns process. They sent the package tracked both times and were incredibly prompt with email replies and processing my request.Now with the Medium here I can safely say it was the better option. It fits comfortably on the shoulders and chest with a slight bagginess to the waist/stomach and the arms. Its important to note though that this jacket is NOT meant to be fitted. No worries though because its extremely comfortable and warm. I've only had the jacket for a short time but its served me very well. Build quality is great - very robust.The only negative I have found is that since the jacket is new the leather on the outside is picking up some of the furry fluff that is dropped by the lining. As I said though I'm pretty sure this is only because the jacket is so new.

I love this jacket! Its very very warm and looks great. When i pulled it out of the box it felt lighter than i was expecting, but thats not a bad thing at all, everyone else who has tried it on has been surprised at how heavy it is. you might also notice when you first open the package, the distinct smell of the leather, but also the wool, which has a slight musky smell to it, again, not necessarily a bad thing, if you're not keen on it you can always spray it. In terms of size, I'm a size 38" chest and i ordered a small which fits nicely, i could easily get another layer or two underneath but you won't need to, the jacket is more than warm enough! But do remember, these are designed on WWII designs, which were about function rather than look, so it isn't a fitted look, like modern leather jackets. I very pleased with mine, they're excellent jackets.I was also hugely pleased with the company I ordered from, they took the liberty to call me after noticing an error the means i had ordered two, and rather than assuming and debiting my account for two, they called me up to check, which saved a lot of messing about. The delivery was also quick, I ordered it on a wednesday and it was delivered on the friday. An absolutely excellent service from Brandslock. I havent had service like that in ages.

This jacket is not real leather, after a while the it's started to peal, and I've seen the same photos on a website from China and the price was 50 $. I don't know how many people know about real leather how it react in time but this definitely is not real leather. So I would not recommend buying this jacket. It looks good but it's not real leather

I purchased this jacket so that I could get my soft top down on the car on sunny autumnal days, it is so effective at keeping me warm in the open top car that I find myself getting the soft top down even now we are in the throws of winter. The collar fastens via a buckle on the collar and with a matching brown leather cap (also found on Amazon and hardly ever off my head now) I can go cruising in my car on those chilly but blue sky days. Get one of these guys you will look like a fighter ace and be warm as toast. Why have a soft top car and leave the roof up for 6 months of the year? I am a 42" chest but ordered the 44" thinking I would need a jumper underneath it. I rarely wear a jumper underneath and do so for style purposes when I do but with the thickness of the sheepskin I think I was wise to have the larger size it does not look too big and I have the option to wear a thick scarf or jumper underneath if I so wish. The leather is soft and looks as though I have had it for years without it looking worn out. Honestly one of my best purchases in recent times!!Alan

Excellent quality, lovely authentic world war two Bomber pilot/ Bomber crew jacket. Arms are intentionally made longer than usual as these jackets were functional during WW2 for using guns/pilots holding controls. You can roll back cuffs if you wish. Excellent for use on my motorbike ! This jacket is very warm and fits well if maybe on the generous side. Again the fit is period WW2 and not meant to be a tight fashion fit. I was concerned about buying over the internet without trying first but it is a perfect fit. Follow Amazons size guide and you wont go wrong. Really pleased with the quality and great look. To finish off, a set of american silver flight wings or bronze Bomber/Navigator wings pinned to the left side will look absolutety great.

I was pleasantly surprised that my jacket arrived two days before date expected, which was great. When I took the jacket out of its packaging I thought it was going to be to small. However on trying it on it fitted like a glove and I was really glad that I ordered it in XXL. The jacket feels quality both the leather and the sheep skin lining and I’m glad that I chose it in black. The downside for me on this jacket is the waist belt, when buckle up the tail end hangs down even when the loops are used. Plus when you wear the jacket unzipped the belt even hangs down longer. Overall I love the jacket and have alway wanted one so the belt issue I can live with.
