Used with my new Optoma Laser projector....
Used with my new Optoma Laser projector....1st things 1st, I am mechanically inclined so for me this projector mount worked perfectly with no modification, "however" it did require a little planning with the mount install on the projector itself. That said, in order to get my 3 points of contact screws tightened on the projector with the mount, 1 screw just needs to be snug tight but not too tight, enough tightness so you can adjust/move and tighten the other 2 screws really good and so the mounting cage is within the mounting center point of contact with the projector. So you know, Optoma's have only 3 mount holes on the projector itself, some have 4 which won't be a problem for you unless you come up short, I used 3 mount arms on my mount, the object is to center the mount in between the 3 mount holes. If you get stuck and your a man, ask a woman for help, if available....they are better at math and angles - a scientific fact, "utilize any good tool in your toolbox" plus it doesn't hurt to get a fresh different perspective, she just might give you a new plan of approach too.It may sound confusing but it really isn't, while doing it, it would "click" with you..."ah hah I know what he talking about". Here's the thing, a snug tight screw is not going to unloosen, the object it's securing isn't constantly moving or vibrating in any way to make the mounting screws loosen. People get to critical when they have to secure something, and over do it on high dollar value items.I found the parts well made, finished very well and heavy duty to deal with it's job of holding the projector in a fixed position. Happy installing, Marc

Well made, easy to use, great value
The media could not be loaded. In summary: Solid design seems to fit all projector types and allows for easy positioning to get just the right angle. Takes some finesse to get the projector on the mount. See the video for a hands on demonstration.I purchased the ceiling mount for my outdoor theater system and am very happy with it. For the price I paid I received a very well made mount that I have complete faith in. It leaves the projector a good distance from the ceiling (about 4 inches) and allows me to easily position the projector at the correct angle depending on where my screen is, which is important because I may not set the screen in the same spot every time.As you can see from the stock photos, there are three pivot points for you to point the projector up and down or tilt left and right. And the arms that attach to the projector itself allow some wiggle so that you can pivot left and right. You can loosen and tighten each pivot point, but just out of the box the screws were loose enough that I could pivot the projector but tight enough that it would stay in place. Perfect!First time setup will likely take you 15 or 20 minutes to get the arms in the right spot (which requires unscrewing some of those arms) but the design is such that it seems like it should fit almost any projector- including supplying 4 different sizes of screws to attach to the mount to the projector. Once the projector is attached to the bottom part of the mount, you will need to attach it to the top part of the mount, which will take another 10 minutes of unscrewing and positioning. Once you've got everything in place the first time, removing the projector from the mount will take you about 3 minutes each time. I wish this took less time but I can't complain because I don't think that's really what the mount was made for. And 3 minutes isn't really a big deal anyway.I can strongly recommend this product!

Works for My Golf Simulator But Feels Flimsy
I got this projector mount to hang the projector in my golf simulator setup. It does work and holds my mini projector in place, which is great for displaying my shots. The extending arms were easy to adjust, and I got it set up on the ceiling in about 20 minutes. I like that it tilts and swivels to get the angle just right for my screen. My only issue is that it feels a little flimsy. It wobbles slightly if I bump the ceiling, and I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up over time with a heavier projector. It’s fine for my small one, but I’d be careful with the weight. Good for the price, but don’t expect it to feel super sturdy.

A sturdy, affordable mount!
I liked it for few reasons, it can work in a lot of settings, it’s light but sturdy and very affordable compared to other products. I had to do a workaround and add additional metal clips to make it work but these were few bucks from Home Depot and worked well.

Inexpensive, Straightforward, and Easy to Use Mount for Benq HT2050 and Other Projectors
Somewhat vague instruction sheet but since there is nothing difficult to figure out with this mount installation was very straightforward and easy once I figured out the best location for my projector. Adjustments are self explanatory when looking at the mount and making it fit your particular projector is not difficult because the legs that are used for attaching the projector can move in any direction and several sizes of screws as well as washers are included in the kit.Overall the mount looks nice with a white powder coated finish and zinc plated bolts. It would be nice if they included some sort of caps to cover the lag bolts which are used in my installation to secure the mount to the ceiling. In my case I used two lag bolts that screw through the drywall and into the lumber of the truss. I measured, marked and then drilled a pilot hole for each lag bolt and then screwed them in tightly. It is very solid. Most of the joints on the mount are fitted with nylon washers which allow you to just crack the allen cap screws slightly loose, scoot the mount to make an adjustment and then snug them back down again to hold everything firmly in place. It is simple yet it works surprisingly well. The mount does hang the projector slightly farther from the ceiling than I would have liked but it looks fine.I'm using the Benq HT2050 projector which shines 11ft to a Monoprice motorized 120 inch screen it looks really nice and watching movies is awesome.

Sturdy mount!
Purchased this to mount my projector to the ceiling. Had to add another piece of wood, but it was super easy to work with and does the job well. Have not noticed any vibration.
