Darn Tough Tactical Boot Full Cushion Socks (T4022) Unisex

Anyone who needs durable socks probably already knows about this brand. They're good. Really good. And they charge accordingly. Anything over $20 for a pair of socks makes me cringe inside, but, blisters from cheap socks after a long ruck march make me wince for real so what can you do? I wish I could afford to just replace all of my socks with these, but, instead I keep three pairs of these for hiking and rucking.Besides, they're made in the USA and I appreciate that as much as I appreciate the comfort and durability.

Bought 2 pair, black and coyote. Both are simply terrific.Not sure I’ve ever described a sock as being “effective” before, but these socks are just that. The wool blend transfers any moisture away from your feet, and this really aids in limiting odour.But the most important attribute of these socks is that they keep my feet warm, but not swelteringly, uncomfortably so. Even in thin boots, in 40 degree windy weather at the range, my feet are nice and toasty.The fit is great, and they stay put on your calves, with no drooping, creeping or sagging (this drives me crazy in other socks). They are not itchy at all. Other than when you first put them on and can immediately feel the difference between these and ordinary tube socks, you forget that they’re specialty socks. They are that comfortable.As I recall, these socks are a few dollars more than some, but they are absolutely worth it.

I have tried LOTS of socks while in the Marines, and these blow everything away. Most notable is their lifetime warranty policy. If these ever wear down on the heels, toes, or balls of feet, you send them in ad they'll send you a new pair. I have spent so much money on fox river socks only to have them wear down in a year or2 and then have to pay full price for more. These are fantastic, and work!

As I mentioned in a review for another pair of Darn Tough sock I own, these are simply the best socks I've ever owned. I've yet to get a blister while wearing them. My feet were soaked last week and I didn't even notice until I took my boots off to rack out.The best!

Hands down the best pair of socks I have ever worn. When I was training at OCS I tried both FoxRiver and Throlo socks, and both left my feet covered in blisters despite all the precautions I could take. These socks have completely changed the game. They’re pricey, but well worth the money you spend.

These socks are awesome. This is my second pair of Darn Tough socks and I don't think I'll ever buy anything else again. They are super comfortable in all my boots.

Will not find a better quality product backed with lifetime warranty. Love the cushion soles and the arch support area has compression to keep socks from have saggy socks

Husband loves these and wants to make them last forever. Best sock he’s ever bought. Great for ruck marching. Well worth every penny!

I've had a few hit or miss socks from Darn Tough. I put socks through the wringer, especially considering my average daily step count is 28,000 steps. Heel area is standing up well to use and my toes are not burrowing through the material. These are standing up to extreme use. I will buy another pair.

Disappointed — finally made the swap to these from 1000 mile socks. One shift in… hole in the sock. Knee I should do stayed with 1000 mile

Having used a number of sock brands for trekking and later for work (wick dry when pounding the pavement), Darn Tough comes out on top over and over. Have used them in the Himalayas, and Kilimanjaro as well as weekends in the Rockies. They don't cause blisters and are extremely comfortable. I prefer the heavy padded ones, but all are of excellent quality, don't bag and fit nicely.

I gave these socks a rating of 4 only because they are stupid pricey. I bought them for my son who wears work boots. He loves these socks and he is picky. So they must be good. He never gets socks that do not have a good cushion so I think I can safely say they are comfortable. And he has a size 13 foot. He said to get XL so they must be a good fit too.
