Great tool from a great company!
These are such solid, well made tools! I have four of their various tools so far, and there are several others on my wish list. :) There would be many more to wish for, if I was serious about gardening - it seems like they have a specialty tool for every need. The trowels have a thicker metal blade than the usual stamped stuff you may be used to, but the edges are ground to a bevel, so they are thinner/sharper - making the digging easier.I am so happy to find an honorable company that makes quality products and stands behind them! DeWit will be my garden tool company forever! Yes, they are more expensive than walking in to HD or L, but these tools will last so much longer, and will probably outlive me...It's been said before, but I'll say it again - a good tool really does make the work easier. When the tool actually helps you, rather than you having to accommodate/work around the tool - for tool weakness, design flaws, etc... I just wish I'd discovered these tools years ago!

Excellent sturdy trowel
If you’re looking for one of the strongest trowels out there that won’t bend or break, get this one. I am a farmer and use these strong trowels for grubbing out deep bindweed or quack grass rhizomes, and prying out fairly large rocks when encountered. This is well built and very strong unlike almost all of the trowels out there, sharp too. For casual home gardener maybe it’s overkill but should last a lifetime if cared for.

Good Value for the Price Point
I own three DeWit tools and find them to be well made and very good value for the money. Sure, you can buy other brands often for a lot less, but I have found they do not age well and often are useless after just one season. Sometimes with some items, it is best to pay more and get a truly good item that will last. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for, so pay for quality and know you have invested your money well.I am just getting back into a little light gardening again after many years, and it is a pleasure to work with these tools. Take care of them, and they will take care of you.Highly recommend DeWit garden tools.

Quality garden trowel
I am very pleased with this purchase. I was worth the extra $ to have something that is made very well. Nicely balanced, sharp, and just the right size. I use it often and highly recommend. Need to get another because my husband keeps borrowing it and I can't find it!

Perfect transplant shovel
Like all DeWitt tools, this transplant trowel is perfect! It is strong and made to last a lifetime. I have owned one for 13 years and it is still like new, which is why I purchased one as a gift for my friend. You want a long slender blade on a transplant shovel, and this one has just that. It has the perfect amount of curve and sharpness. The handle and blade are perfectly balanced for a comfortable hold. The trowel is not too heavy for a smaller or older person.

Very good trowel
The trowel is very strong and it is sharp. This makes it good for weeding and digging small holes for planting. We have three now so that if we misplace one, we have another.

quality materials...made to last
A little pricey but if I don't have to buy another one, it's definitely worth it. A quality tool

Has The Quality slipped..
Love the tool. Great hand-feel good digging, great steel. However,,, I would have given 5stars but tool one star off as the tool was blunted with a weld dab on it's end from the manufacturing process. I had to file the damned thing off to get an A-1 tool. his was a 2nd purchase and the first did not have the problem on the first tool..
