Ego extendable rubber mesh net
I really like the net. This is my second one because they don’t float as advertised. I have used it almost all year. The rubber mesh is easy to get hooks out of. Great extended length. It’s perfect for Crappie and I fish the MS lakes where 2 lb fish are common. It also can be hard to unscrew to extend on the joint near the handle. I suggest not tightening it down too much. Overall I bought a second one, it was that good. It looks like on Ego’s website they are going for a fancier net. Much more expensive. For the money this one is fine.

Good product idea using inferior materials
I purchased this net in order to solve a problem experienced with nets built of more traditional materials/methods. I wanted to eliminate the net becoming hopeless entangled upon catching a lively, thrashing catfish. This rubber based net appeared to solve the problem until I used it to haul in a five pounder. As it thrashed, it actually broke several of the net's strands. While I'm still using this net, my confidence that it will hold up over time is diminished. Still and all, I believe this product would serve bass and panfish anglers quite well - so long as the quarry is bereft of sharp teeth or spines as the catfish and gar possess. I do find this net's extensibility very useful.

Perfect for Spider Rig White Perch Fishing!
I use this while white perch fishing. I had my doubts about it, but purchased It anyway and I’m glad I did! What I love most is the fact that hooks do not get tangled up in it. It’s perfectly long enough for reaching out there when you need to. I spider rig with 14’ poles and this net works great! I don’t know if it floats as I’ve never dropped it in the water. Also used it while fishing Yo-Yo’s and it worked great in the short unextended position as well! Go ahead and order one! You won’t regret it.

Long Reach, flimsy net frame
I didn't realize how thin the net frame would be until I received it. The handle is nice and long, exactly what I wanted, but the net frame doesn't seem too strong... I guess time will tell. I'll be a bit worried if I get a 5lb trout. However, for the price, I can't expect the world. Ultimately, it should work out better then what I was using... looking forward to the long handle where I can net fish 10ft away from the boat and downrigger cable.

Great Length/Easily Adjusted
Am very pleased with the Ego Reach Net. It is super light, has a great overall length, stows nicely when collapsed, ans is easily adjusted to any desired length within the several feet range of adjustment. The net is used for crappie and handles them superbly. The long reach allows the fish to be scooped up as soon as they surface, even when caught on 10' - 12' crappie poles. Although this net is not rated for fish over 3 lbs, the occasional 5 lb bass has been successfully landed.

Perfect for Spider Rigging.
This is a great item and sturdy! I dipped 2 fish at one time with it and it held up great! The Crappie on the right weighed 3.4 pounds alone. Great for Grenada lake crappie fishing.

Full stars if it wasn’t so heavy!!
Love the net, you can’t get a hook hung up in it and it’s sturdy but, it is alittle heavy on the wrist when landing a fish with it extended out.
