Luminous skin? Yes please.
When I first opened my package, I thought they accidentally sent me toner. This product is watery. But I decided to try it anyway and I can't tell you how happy I am that I did. It's blown every moisturizer I've ever used out of the water. One pump covers my face and neck, and is quickly absorbed in my skin. It has a very light smell that disappears quickly. I use it twice daily, and have gotten many compliments on how luminous my skin has been looking.I'm extremely pale and typically look like a haunted Victorian doll without makeup, but since I've been using this somehow there is color on my face and I look healthy without foundation?I haven't gotten any breakouts, redness or irritation from using this product. My skin is neither oily nor dry, but I've been moisturizing my face twice daily for years which solved my previous "combination skin" problems. This product continues making skin being happy, but better than all the other moisturizers I've tried before - whatever magic is in it has made me go without foundation and people have stopped asking if I'm sick and asking me WHY IS YOUR SKIN GLOWING?I love it. It's definitely worth a try, don't let the viscosity of the product discourage you!

good replacement for moisturizer
Skin type: combination and acne proneI’ve only been using this for a week but so far no breakouts. I wanted to get a toner that was light but hydrating enough that I wouldn’t need a moisturizer on top. This toner isn’t creamy per se but the hydration lasts so long and combined with the humidity of my city, i find that this is enough for my skin in the summer. I put it in a spray bottle and even use it only my scalp for extra moisture. I would recommend so far.

Versatile product, glowy skin, economical price point
I was looking for some extra hydration in addition to my routine and this was a perfect fit.I found this little gem while researchingHadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moisturizer. This is more of a liquidy essence rather than an actual moisturizer like the latter. I decided to go with this one instead of Hadalabo because it was more economical for 500ml and is more versatile. This is thin like water in consistency, and smells like weird artificial bubblegum sake . The scent dissipates quickly though so that’s no big deal. The bottle is really large with a clumsy pump so I like to decant into one of those small amber bottles w/pump that you use for making your own skincare products (amber bottle not necessary, it’s just what I had on hand). I apply it with my fingers, consistency is watery. I let it soak in and voila, plump, moisturized skin. For a deeper moisturizing treatment, I do a mask. Using just a one ply gauze pad from my medicine cabinet, I cut eye and nose holes, saturate on a plate, lay down/relax and leave on my face for 15 minutes. The biggest difference I have seen is just how well my makeup glides on. And my face just glows. In the past I’ve used Stratera Liquid Gold, Ceremidin, Nivea (German version), embroylisee, Hope in a Jar, La Mer...Many more I liked them, and found near HG status in Liquid Gold (but that fishy smell when it dries...yuck). This is a great supplement to all of these. I’ve gotten away with using several layers of this as an alternative to using a regular lotion and it worked pretty well. The K M lotion is lighter feeling, absorbs fast, is more versatile and a far better value than any of the aforementioned. Some background: I’m almost 37,use retin A 3x + per week, dry , somewhat dehydrated, oily in the t zone. I also use a Clarisonic for occasional deep cleaning. Lately My routine has been:AM: Erin Laszlo Black Bar, BR P50, Eve Lom Time Retreat Essence, Vitamin CE serum, High M, Hadalabo Premium, then either Biore Watery Essence 50+++ Sunscreen or LRP oil free dry touch.PM: removing my makeup with a baby wipe, Erno Laszlo Black Bar, Arcona Triad Pads then retin a. P50 and Lacura Q10 or Bioderma Hydrable serum on “off” retin a days. Also, was trying out a powder at Sephora the other day and the SA said I had really nice “supple” skin (nobody had ever made a comment like that to me before about my usually dry/dull skin, never happens!). This stuff is truly magic, nothing more to say :)

Surprisingly moisturizing for a liquid; great value; just smells mildly like feet
So this really is a nice product at its price point. As others have noted, this is NOT an American-style "toner" that stings and tightens the skin. This is a light, moisturizing liquid (not a gel, cream, or even close - it is like water).I like to use this right after washing my face or out of the shower to avoid that dryness sneaking up on me. I usually layer with a moisturizer on top, then makeup. I have pretty dry skin, especially in winter. I like this very much as the base for all my other facial products.PROS- Very mild, no sting- Huge bottle so can use on whole body if desired- Moisturizes surprisingly well for a liquid- Not sticky or greasy at all, no residue- Layers well under other moisturizers and/or makeupCONS- Smells mildly like slightly stinky feet. I guess it is supposed to be a sake smell (since that is the base ingredient), which is fermented rice, and I find it rather unpleasant. Fortunately, the smell dissipates quickly ,so my partner doesn't kiss my cheek and smell stinky feet.NEUTRAL- Because it's a liquid, sometimes when I pump the bottle I overshoot and don't get it all in my hand. Have to be careful to pump gently and precisely.

The price is very wrong
I like this lotion, even though it's not my favorite out of all Japanese products, but I want to say that the price here is outrageous. It costs around 700 yen in Japan. The seller is unethical, and there are various websites where you can buy products from Japan for the same price it's sold in Japan + shipping. The lotion hydrates really well, leaving a thin moisturizing film (due to ceramides). It can be a bit tacky, that's why it's better to apply it on damp skin! The smell of sake doesn't bother me at all, it reality I even like it, tbh!5 stars to the lotion, 1 star to the seller who makes up their own price.
