I used this shampoo on my UGGS and I followed the "picture" directions and watched a couple of YouTube videos and it was so easy. I only used a small amount and it still did the trick and took a butter/oil stain right out. I probably only used about a 1 big tablespoon of shampoo to maybe 2 tablespoons of water and was able to shampoo both boots. My boots were maybe 3 months old and they got a small stain on them but this amount of the shampoo worked. I was a little afraid to put too much shampoo in because I was unsure of how the rinsing would go, but I lathered up my boots and was able to rinse out the soapiness by just wetting the brush a few times and the soap was out. I probably spent approximately 5 minutes, give or take, to do both boots and they were done. I did brush my boots both before and after letting the boots dry. It really only took 2-3 hours for the boots to be good and dry. The nap of the suede brushes right back to normal. My boots were a chestnut color (light tan) and they came out the same color-no difference really. Would highly recommend, worth the price. Just use the shampoo sparingly at first because in my case it was all I needed and the product will last longer.

My boots had suffered some water damage, so there were a couple of unsightly dark spots on them. I bought this following the suede-cleaning instructions on Saphir's website. From the description on the website, I was expecting this to easily clean most if not all of the stains on my suede boots. Unfortunately, it failed to do so, and also made the texture of the boots really rough. (To be fair, the problem of roughness was partly solved by using the crepe brush afterwards; but nonetheless this cleaner failed to remove my boots' stains.)

I have Suede shoes which got damaged during a wedding when alcohol was poured all over it. I had given all the hopes of reviving my favorite shoes and just wanted to give one last try to see if I can clean it.After following the instructions and using it with the right brush, to my absolute surprise after the shoes dried out, they were completely revived and back in its original glory.I would recommend applying a hydrophobic coating on suede after cleaning to avoid big messes.This is a great product! Don't even think twice.
