amazing product, measuring tape gets stuck, everything eles works flawless.

I found this tool to be very useful at at great price. I actually have two. As mentioned by other reviews thte tape measure is not the best quality and I don't expect it to last.

This arrived today and I immediately started checking it out.It feels solidly built. The movement when selecting the projected shape has a good tactile click for each of the three positions.. It definitely feels like it will hold the position with no movement once it is selected. The projected lines are bright and are sharply defined.The built in tape measure will come in handy when working in a tight space.The included steel ruler will also be handy. It measures 6 inches on one side and 15 cm on the other. I know from experience that it is often nice to have easy access to both measurement systems.The level comes with batteries pre installed, you just have to pull out a little tab to connect them. There is also a set of spare batteries included. This is nice because they are the little button batteries. With those I can never remember what size I need when I am at the store. Between the installed batteries and the spares I won’t have to worry about that for a long time.Overall I am happy with this level but I found two deficiencies that made me reduce my rating to 4 stars. The deficiencies are not with the level itself but with the product packaging.1. When checking a measurement you have to account for the offset from the base of the level to the center of the laser lens. This is a very important measurement and should be included in the specification for each of the three lens positions.I figured I would measure it myself but even that turned out a little more difficult than I first thought it would be.The included metal ruler seemed like it would be perfect. I set the level on a flat surface and set the end of the ruler on the same surface. I could not determine the offsets on my first try. One issue is that I don’t know if the offset is metric or imperiaso I will just have to judge which mark seems closest.. But here I discovered the second deficiency. On the inch side the end of the ruler is not zero inches. There is some extra space there. It is ruled so I should be able to figure it out tomorrow using my magnifying glass . But I will have to include that extra space every time I make a measurement. On the metric side the end of the ruler is zero cm. I was amazed to see that on the inch side. . Who would make a ruler like that?Having said all this, I have to keep in mind that I am not building rockets or doing fine woodworking. My projects can tolerate a fair amount of inaccuracy. I am still keeping with my 4 star rating though because the issues I point out here can and should be fixed by the manufacturer.

This is so versatile. I use so many of the features and everything is right there in one product. It is easy to use and I love how handy having a ruler, level, and light all in one place.

Very useful little tool.

I gifted this to my husband for Christmas and we just opened it and discovered that the laser doesn’t work- we’ve tried everything and replaced the batteries. Although the laser is defective on ours, it’s still a functional leveling tool and has a little tape measure on the back. But, the laser was my main reason for purchasing it.

Simple, one-button, function. Does exactly what I need it to without a bunch of useless bells and whistles.

lots of little features make it worth it, but i noticed that the one i got, one of the bubble levels is not true. I placed it on a wall and it was very noticeable that it was not level (the tool not the wall). I made due using it another, less than ideal way. in a well lit room the laser along the wall loses visual range after about 3-4'. the built in tape measure is nice though.
