Bloody incredible keyboard. Best of the old-school and the new.
I have loved and used mechanical keyboards for a long time. This Ducky Keyboard gives the Model M a run for the title "The One True Keyboard". This keyboard's Cherry Brown switches are an excellent substitute for a buckling springs in my opinion. Bought it for my kid who heard about it from somewhere. This thing is damn solid, solid (gun)metal front. Feels like much of the underside/bottom plate is extra heavy plastic (ABS?). It weighs pretty close to the same as my Model M (or about as close as any keyboard could, anyways). Thick rubber incorporated into the underside (no stick on rubber pads) everywhere on the bottom, even on the bottom of the risers. Detachable premium feeling USB C cord, good length. The keycaps feel incredible. RGB Light shines through (and around each key) best on the keys already pre-installed - the light doesn't shine through as well through the handful of extra blue keys we got. But we felt compelled to install b/c they look so cool and allow some distinction for "key" keys. My kid loves the variety of RGB light options and the lighting is clear and well lit, reminds me of OLED screens. No other crazy options (USB outputs etc) but I got a USB hub, its fine. I just can't get over the quality of this keyboard, it's got that old school solid quality feel, I appreciate the fact that it's not reliant on some BS external driver/app for any part of its functionality. It's all hardwire controlled, hardwired macros, RGB light schemes. Great for gaming.Love the dip switches on the bottom. In general, I prefer to keep control over my products through a mechanically and hardware implemented functionality versus giving up a portion of a keyboard's usability by marrying it to some BS logitech style software that becomes redundant in 3-4 years (As an example, Logitech Gaming Software disappeared and gimped a few of my Logitech macroboards b/c its new G-Hub - which is terrible - doesn't support it). Consumers these days are like sheep, readily and unknowningly giving up full ownership and control of their own product to the very companies that profit from planned obsolescence.Any cons? Not sure about long term - I assume it'll be around for a very long time, but you can be sure that if it fails in any way, I'll be back to complain and rip the seller and the Ducky brand a new one. Second: it's increasingly hard to find these keyboards; getting the one you want is like waiting in line for a BS "Supreme drop" in Brooklyn, which leads me to the third issue: it's bloody expensive, though it looks like it's worth every artificially devalued renminbi Ducky will earn off me.

Silver keys feel awesome
This is a really solid keyboard, the metal looks and feels amazing, the RGB lighting is also nice. The key switches (Cherry MX Silver) took some getting used to as they are a lot more gentle and less clicky than what I was used to (Razer green switches), but now I am in love with them. They are incredibly quick and typing/pressing on them feels so satisfying, I also like how they give tactile feedback whilst not being obnoxiously loud like my previous keyboard was (I can type without it being constantly picked up by my mic). The detachable USB-c power cord is also a really nice feature coming from using a keyboard without one, since it is really easy to move the keyboard around if I need to clean my desk or anything like that. The only thing I would complain about with this keyboard is the lack of media keys, and recording macros seems a bit complicated.

Perfectly delicious RGB mechanical keyboard
This is the end game mechanical keyboard!I had a $50 mechanical RGB keyboard before and this one blows it out of the water in every single way! Let’s see, there’s not anything negative I can say about it other thank the heavyness which is to be expected of a high quality mechanical keyboard. It’s heft alright but it like it. It makes it feel so durable and long lasting. There are 10 different RGB modes which can each be slowed down or sped up depending on how you want to see the lights. There is a breathing mode which looks like the keys are breathing in color, there is a tan drop mode which looks like the colors are raining on the keyboard. And much much more. The key travel is perfect for me. Keys travel just enough to know you are getting a good press, but not on far. They are also fairly silent, as opposed to my older VERY loud keyboard which I didn’t like. I don’t game, I actually use this while working from home in my IT job. I just love the colors and the silent key presses while on calls. It comes with a really neat custom made artsy space bar as well as other keys they you can put on or off if you like to customize your keys. The keys are perfectly molded for my fingers and feel great pressing them.I haven’t even gotten into the macros yet but intend to do so and look like there is endless customization with them.Love Love LOVE this keyboard!!!

Great Keyboard! Gateron yellows feels great on this keyboard!
It is a solid keyboard for a manufactured design. The led patterns are easy to configure with Ducky RGB software on their website. I ended up modding the keyboard with different switches because I wasn't a big fan of cherry mix brown. Big warning to not do this because it will cancel the warranty on the keyboard, but the PCB was easy to desolder and it already has led installed as a short header for switches so there shouldn't be any issues with clearance, but just to be sure though buy only smd, rgb, and clear top housing switches.

Fantastic
I really like the keyboard. Works well, brightness and colors are fantastic. Only con is that the space bar variant was the year of the pig, not the dog like shown in the picture ):, i loved that one best!. Would have been perfect if i had that!! But overall am fairly happy with product.

Nice
If you have never used a ducky keyboard, you’re missing out. Light settings are stored and set on the board instead of with software on your pc so there is no need to download anything, should work with default keyboard drivers. The lights a evenly bright. Key travel is comfortable, as is the angle.

Great build quality, some imperfections
Decent for a prebuilt board. PBT Doubleshots caps that are grainy and resist finger sweat, all around aluminum build which is solid. Ducky software is easy to control as well. Good acoustics, stabilizers are not too rattling or pinging.Standard layout also allow you to switch keycaps with ease.Easy to adjust height with dual size feet.Negatives- It does have some metallic pinging sounds upon every keystroke due to aluminum design. The space bar LED’s are pretty badly designed, as there is a gap that shines through the bottom and shines the light into your eyes, blinding you. Can be mitigated by taping a small piece of electrical tape across the LED however. The keycap is blotchy- due to the Doubleshots design, some parts of keycap lettering is blotchy as light does not pass through consistently. The keyboard does sit higher so some people many need a wrist rest. All around great board, would definitely recommend above any other “gaming” RGB keyboards such as razer or corsair.

Amazing so far
Just got this all setup and I'm really enjoying it so far. It feels amazing - by far the best feeling keyboard I've ever used. The software doesn't seem great, but works (though I did have to attempt the firmware upgrade twice which felt a little sketchy). The only problem I had with it right out of the box is that the Num/Caps lock lights are SO bright. As I type this I still see little spots in my vision from being temporarily blinded lol. I definitely recommend installing the software right away, doing the firmware upgrade if it tells you to, and then using Right ALT+FN+Up/Down arrow keys to adjust the brightness on those LEDs. If this doesn't work right after the update just try restarting.Great product though. Would definitely recommend.

Not the same product as in picture, some misaligned keys, no pass through blue doubleshot PBTs.
During my extremely brief time with this keyboard I can note that the other reviewers were on the mark with this keyboard. The double shot PBT keycaps do have uneven lighting between certain keys such as on the number pad "pg dn".Cherry MX reds have always been my fan favorite since I always bottom out on the keys so having a linear switch suited me much better than other keys like a Cherry MX brown. I would recommend getting a Cherry brown keyboard if you don't frequently bottom out the keyboard and prefer to just reach the actuation point and retract your fingers. The most important thing to note and probably a big selling feature of this keyboard was the "dog" spacebar key (that looks really cool) that passes through RGB light as well. Unfortunately I did not receive the item as pictured and commonly shown on youtube videos and received the one that I have included in this review. I am not personally a fan of this "rat" that I received so will be returning it and hopefully exchanging for the proper item as pictured.Other things to note is that there are some included blue keycaps and the "enter" key came stock in the blue color. Take note that none of the blue keycaps are pass through so RGB will not shine through them. See the picture of the bottom of the keycaps. Only the black "enter" keycap remains pass through.Included is also a relatively long USB Type-C cable so is great for future proofing. I enjoy that it is detachable which makes it more travel friendly. Also bundled is a keycap puller that is less fatiguing to use and remove keycaps. The metal could be a little thicker but it does the job.The weight of the keyboard is relatively weighty and I feel that this keyboard will not slide around even with heavy use. Finally the back of the feet of the keyboard can be raised in 3 different steps so you can find what works for you and the angle that you like to rest your fingers on.Overall the keyboard would be great if the spacebar keycap was the proper one. I am knocking off 2 stars for two reasons besides an order mixup.1. Some of the keycaps and hence switches are not completely aligned. For example the "F3" key was positioned slightly higher and not in line with the rest of the "F" keys.2. I would have liked to see the blue keycaps also with a light pass through as well. All in all, I feel as if this keyboard does many things right, The keyboard height is not so absurdly high (like in Redragon's 556 Mechanical keyboard or the K95 Platinum. There is no keyboard rest but since it is not as high profile, I can find comfort in it just using a XXL mousepad and resting my wrists/palms on it.I have still yet to use an IKBC, Durgod, Leopold, Filco, Das Keyboard and many other higher end prebuilt keyboards so cannot comment on the differences between this keyboard and its competitors. What I can say is that I enjoy this keyboard over some of the more plastic mainstream gamer mechanical keyboards from companies such as Logitech or Corsair.

An amazing and beautiful keyboard!
The keyboard is absolutely fantastic! The build quality is top notch, keycaps feel great very well built! The RGB back lighting is nice and bright and shines well through the keycaps. It has a removable USB 3.0 cable so no more 2 USB slots taken up by one keyboard. The shine 7 is awesome but its pricey but is a "limited edition" they make only so many a year. But the ducky one 2 is basically the same just full plastic construction if you're looking for a similar keyboard at a cheaper price

It's really good if it worked properly out of the box...
Came damaged (space bar did not work and scroll lock did not work either.) Sure it happens. The thing that irked me was when I'm returning, they never sent a return paper to print to return so I don't have to pay for postage but they never sent. I waited for 3 weeks when they said it would be in 5-8 business days.
