Works to keep raccoons out of the pool! Looks very lifelike and size is just right.

Ducks fly over checking to see if it’s still there and then zoom on over. Great may keeps going into side drain. Could be a little larger in size. Have to keep removing it from drain but it does keep ducks out of my pool and back yard.

I bought this alligator as an experiment to try and scare the ducks out of my swimming pool. It floated perfectly and actually looked like a real alligator. The first time I floated it in the pool, the wind blew it to the edge, and wouldn't stay in the middle where the ducks were landing. When checked its location again later I couldn't find it and thought my husband had taken it out of the pool. He said he hadn't, so I search and found it had been sucked into the skimmer. I had to find a solution to get the thing to float out in the middle of the pool. I took an empty gallon plastic jug, filled it with rocks and tied a length of nylon fishing line around the handle. Then tied the line to the alligator head and put the jug in the middle of the pool. This worked. Now the alligator was in the middle of the pool. Unfortunately the ducks still landed. The experiment failed. I guess I just need a real alligator.

Looks realistic and floats well. Definitely does not deter ducks from being in the pool though.

I don't know how well it actually worked at keeping the ducks away, but it looked pretty cool in the pool.

Bought it, box was not damaged and product was chipped, exposing the foam which would have caused it to sink in water. Sent back, had another one sent, that one was even more chipped. It did look really nice, wish they weren’t chipped. I think it would have looked really cool in the pond. If it could be a little more sturdy, I would have given 5 stars
