Best gift for my 5 year old daughter!
First off, my kids don't like to play with most toys. They like boxes, jumping around, and imagining games up. Even with knowing this, my husband and I still try to find toys that will keep their attention. With that being said, my daughter cannot stop playing with this since yesterday morning (Christmas). She has been taking it everywhere and absolutely adores it. It has really cute features and it is a virtual "pet" that needs to be taken care of. The flying is an interesting part which both my kids love to watch. As other reviewers said, it can be loud, but it's not that loud in my opinion. It does fly pretty high and all over the place, but if your child guides it, that is helpful. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and my 5 year old daughter LOVES it.

The flight option is so fun and impressive!
We recently received the Owleez as a gift and my daughters (age 5 and 8) absolutely love it. The directions to fly and nurture were very easy to follow and before we knew it, our Owleez was flying in the air! It takes off and flies in different directions making it fun to follow around. The best part is that if it does crash in to something it just falls to the ground, but does not break or become injured. This toy far surpasses other interactive toys we have had because of the flight option and easy instructions for nurturing and playing with it. We love the bright pink color and furry wings. We would highly recommend this interactive toy!

This thing is insane
We bought this for for my daughter and it turned out to be one of the big hits of our Christmas. She absolutely freaked out when she opened it. Then we all got to sit around and laugh at it trying to fly (and crash over and over and over). It's a little frightening when it it does its flying thing...it sits in its nest and its head raises up and the propellers start to rev up faster and faster. And then it takes off like a drone...but a drone that nobody has any control over. It does it's best to fly around a little...but even when given quite a bit of room...it'll end up crashing into a wall or a cupboard or even the floor. Supposedly it gets better with flying over time, but the directions state that even at its best it'll only fly for about 10 seconds. And make sure to read the directions! They are quite long but describe what all the different light colors mean and mostly importantly, what to do when the head gets stuck (which seems to happen pretty often). On the downside...it feels like pretty cheap plastic. With the repeated crashes I'm not sure how long it'll last before something gets broken off. Also, the manual mentions a couple times that it is an indoor only toy. But the flying part really needs some space as you have no idea what direction this thing is going to go when it takes off. That amount of space may be tricky depending on where you live. The eyes change color somewhat randomly and pretty quickly...my daughter sometimes has trouble remembering what each color means and then doing the corresponding action before the lights have changed to some other color.Overall though...fun...good for a laugh...and slightly terrifying.

Lovely for 5 yr old Girl! Ready-to-play right out of the box. very cute and giftable
5 & 3 yr old girls squealed with delight at this ready to play with, interactive toy. They love the eye colours. Haven't managed to make the owl fly yet but they couldnt get enough of this toy. Owl was smaller than I imagined, and the instruction manual has so many languages mixed in, it's difficult to find the English part in it. Love how it is charged a little already. A but hard to burp (when eyes are green) but it sings and eats and sleeps and too cute! Cannot wait for it to fly!Would be a great gift for family and friends, for bdays and Xmas. Probably for 4 years plus.

Love it!
There's only one thing that is hard to do with this owl and that's gettin it to fly. It will not just fly for you. You must actually train it to fly lik a real owl has to learn to fly. It took me 3 months until I finally was able to get it to fly but beware....just because you get it to fly 1, 3, 7 or 15 times doesn't mean the next time you want it to fly, it will actually fly for you. Sometimes this owl seems so real when it comes to the different things it can do and the different things it can actually learn from you teaching it how to do things.

Flew once!!
So I bought this for my daughter the Christmas of 2020. She was soooo in love with it but couldn't get it to do anything so I started playing with it. I got it to fly one time in 3 hours of trying... When it took off it scared the daylights out of her (whom is autistic) and the dogs and cats. Tv got knocked over and broken plants knocked over some other stuff of value as well.. Anyways the next week we were moving so I packed it away with some other toys in a tote. Last week YES 2 years later we get it out and it won't even charge!!! It makes a weird sound that you here in the hospital when your IV bag is out of fluid or has a kink in it.. Talk about creepy!! Soni decided to look them up to see about ordering a second one so we can try again.. When I seen these prices I about had a heart attack!!! I paid $25 for it now I see them as high at $109 like WOW that's just insane!!! I do not advise others to buy this unless you enjoy waisting money!!! If you like waisting money just donate the money to a good cause as doing that would teach the child something over a broken creepy plastic Owl....

A great learning and lovable toy.
This lived up to all our expectations, a rare thing these days! It really does fly!! It was a great learning toy. You have to learn how to care for the owl, understand it’s needs. When you understand the sounds and colors it rewards you with a flight, sounding much like the rev of an airplane engine. I gave it to a 7 year old, it’s not a toy for a younger child. Make sure you have it in a cleared space, so as not to have glass break or anything else close to the lift off. A great learning and lovable toy!
