First of all, these Organic Sultana Golden Raisins are delicious! So fresh, juicy, and sweet - a perfect snack. If only they weren't so addictive - my household devours these by the handful. We will be sure to purchase again!Second of all, if anyone takes the time to look through the product pictures and read the descriptions, you will clearly see mentioned time and time again that these raisins will not be a bright golden yellow. With any natural and organic product, you have variations in color or texture. THAT IS A GOOD THING! It means that you are getting something real, not a processed product that is altered to look a certain way.One thing is for sure, I am a super fan of these golden raisins!

Used these raisins to make great oatmeal raisin cookies...and enjoyed just eating them for a snack.

UGH! So frustrated and angry that I did not look inside this bag until it was time to add these "golden" raisins to my Bobotie. I make large batches for my customers and already had the meat cooked and ready for the dried fruit, so I was forced to add these regular raisins to my dish. I tried them hoping the flavor would be right even though they looked exactly like regular Thompson raisins which are very dark, and of course they tasted exactly like ordinary raisins. I am a chef who uses only organic ingredients and I have purchased golden Sultana raisins many times from many different sources. I know what they are supposed to taste like and look like - and NO, the lies on the package trying to lull the consumer into believing that ordinary CHEAP raisins are golden EXPENSIVE raisins simply b/c they do not have sulfur dioxide and are therefore not bright orange will not fool me. So that others will not be misled like I was I have included photos; my photo on the right even includes a comparison of another bag of unopened regular raisins so you can see these "golden" raisins are even darker than those! I hate to be cheated and that's what this is: CHEATING. $18 for 1 lb of regular raisins?! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

They seem fine in general, except that they do not have the expected golden appearance.

This 5 star (*****) review is for the organic currants that I purchased at the same time with the golden raisins. The currants were perfect just what I ordered. The organic currants kept being swapped out and replaced with the golden raisins whenever I tried to review the currants. The result being that the golden raisins got the 5 stars I gave to the organic currants. Very frustrating.The golden raisins/sultanas review is attached to the organic currants review somehow. The golden raisins were a disappointment and not golden and was given 1 star (1*).

I like to use golden raisins in my recipes and they are not always available...and when they are they are treated with sulfur dioxide, so I was very pleased to find these organic ones on Amazon. Also in the past with other brands, while they say they are golden raisins, they just look like regular raisins and taste like them. These golden raisins taste the way a golden raisin should.

The raisins are great but, I avoid seed oils and would not have purchased if I knew this was in the product.

I was so happy to find golden raisins! These are difficult to find. They are my favorite.
