Great battery for my 8 yr old HP Envy laptop. After installation the screen seemed brighter and more vibrant than ever before. The only challenge I encountered during installation was in dealing with the short ribbon wires, but this was due to the HP product rather than the battery itself. Yet having said that, this is the second time I have had to change the battery on this specific laptop, and this change-out was much easier than the first.

Seller made good on purchase. Refunded money. Great customer serviceInstalled with no issues. Charged before turning on. Once fully charged, turned it on and used it. Two days later it wouldn't come on. Took it to a repair facility and found out the motherboard was done. And, that was another $200. I don't know if i got the one bad battery, but it has been a costly mistake. Thankfully, the hard drive was able to be recovered. But, a new laptop was not in the budget.

Truly disappointed in the quality. I bought this battery and followed the instructions to install. It worked for a while before I noticed the battery started losing charge. On day 31, I noticed the battery was not charging and the laptop had to remain plugged-in to the power adapter, in order to turn on. Now I’m back to where I started before I purchased this dud of a battery. The refund policy is 30 days – it’s like this is designed to fail after you can’t get your money back or a replacement.

I ordered the battery and it arrived as promised. After I separated the back from the other layers, I compared the new battery to the one in my laptop to make sure it was a match. I Installed the battery, re-connected the layers, etc. Everything worked. Works like my original battery when it was brand new. I saved a lot of money doing this myself, because the nearest Best Buy is more than an hour away.

My wife’s laptop battery was dying and bought this and changed it and it works great.

Care needs to be exercised when installing the new battery, as the (pin 1) is not marked and the sheath needs to be pulled back to see the correct orientation. Runtime seems to be spot on.

First time replacing battery .Very easy to do I learned how to do it on YOUTUBE LOL.

Reasonably priced replacement battery for 5 year old HP Pavilion i3 laptop. Only minor issue was that the battery cable was a smidge too long and I had to jam it in the available space, which I hope doesn't stress a connection over time. Happy to have the option...wish OEMs would source batteries.
