The Summit Of The Gods: Volume 5 Paperback – July 31, 2015

I recently picked up this mountaineering manga and was immediately drawn in by the breathtaking drawings of mountain landscapes and the thrill of tackling challenging summits. The book not only taught me about the technical aspects of mountaineering but also introduced me to the rich history and culture of the sport. Overall, this book was a fantastic discovery, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I'm so taken by this series that I decided to start purchasing the volumes (after having read the series from the library.) Absolutely spellbinding and masterful.

I don't know what to say but what a great series that leaves with great respect to those who bravely if not valiantly trek the most dangerous of mountains. But it does leave me with a question regarding if Fuckamachi and Ryoko ever got married or not. I suppose that leave it up to those whom read this series. Even me.

In the final chapter we finally realize what it means to climb or not to climb, what drives the characters and how it all pans out. It's a wonderful denouement. Very satisfying. Highly recommend all 5 of these books which make up the story. Please, let's have an English version of the original novel as well!
