Lovely wooden kitchen set.
The media could not be loaded. We didn’t have want the cheap plastic kitchen set so we went with this wooden one which is very sturdy. Took us 1 hr to build this kitchen, it wasn’t bad at all. The instructions were pretty straightforward. Clean it before using it. We got bunch of brown junk off of the boards. Very pretty though. Good size for my 2 year old. My kid’s favorite part was the ice machine and the stove!

Cute little kitchen, very happy
The media could not be loaded. This kitchen is very cute and pretty to look at. It's the perfect size for my 2, 4, and 6 year olds. It actually doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would, which was something preventing me from getting one for a long time. Once assembled, it is very sturdy. It's also surprisingly spacious inside the compartments. I do wish there were at least one or two more shelves inside the fridge because they're awkward sizes. The doors are easy enough for small children to open and close, as long as the handles are locked in. The instructions were easy to follow but there were a lot of them and A LOT of parts. If assembled correctly, the parts all fit nicely and easily together but some of the screws were tough to get screwed in. It did take a while to put together. Overall, we love it!

The Best Play Kitchen !!
The media could not be loaded. This play kitchen is amazing and super cute! My son got this play kitchen for his 4th birthday. He's going to be 7 in March and he still loves playing with this kitchen. He now shares his play kitchen with his 2y old sister. She has a blast playing and cooking in their kitchen. This play kitchen has so much room and can hold a lot of play food. I've glamed it up a bit by buying real LED motion sensor lights that turn on so my kids can see at night. Also added some fun stickers. Makes it so much more fun! I love the ice machine. With a simple push you have fake ice cubes that really fall out. The microwave can turn as well but you have to spin it on your own to make it turn with a knob underneat. You can really dress this kitchen up however you want. I use the top part of the kitchen witch I believe is the freezer as a little pantry. Then the fridge is used as a half freezer for their frozen treats and ice cream. Such a fun play kitchen. I have fun playing with my kids kitchen lol. The extra storage for the pots and pans was bought separately. I use to keep them in the oven. It goes super well with this kitchen and holds all their cooking accessories. This kitchen is wonderful all on its own. If your thinking about buying it just BUY IT! Your little one/ ones will love it. Can't remember how long it took my husband to put together but it was up in no time. I love this kitchen and my kids love it even more !

Great size. Much taller than other ones.
Purchased 2 of these now. My grandchildren love it. It has held up this far and I have 3 children under 4yrs old that play regular with it. I purchased a second for my oldest grandchild to replace the tiny one she had at home for almost the same price. This unit is much bigger and taller than any other I’ve had so it will last longer before they outgrow the size. My oldest granddaughter loves it a lot more than the tiny one she first ended up with. I am very pleased with the size myself. Well made and not to hard to put together. Very happy with this purchase.

Mostly good, but a few small problems in building.
Building went mostly smoothly, with 3 exceptions. On Step 6- Groovy, you are told to insert two shelves, G and G2. I am not sure if the instructions are wrong or my shelves were mislabeled, but they did not fit as pictured in the instructions. They fit great once I realized they needed to be reversed. On Step 7- Get Back and Step 8- Get to the Bottom of It, it was extremely hard to keep both shelves and both backs in the right places while putting on the bottom part, even with two adults. We eventually got it, but I have never had anything that finicky in all my building IKEA stuff. On Step 23- Easy to Handle, the picture instructions for both the fridge and freezer are just plain wrong. They are pictured the exact same as the microwave and oven doors, which open from right to left. The fridge and freezer open from left to right, so the handle and latch springs are in different places. It confused me quite a bit when no matter which way I turned it I could not make the doors in question match the pictures. I moved on and attached the microwave and oven doors and then figured out how the fridge and freezer handles must go to make sense.I was surprised at the amount of plastic on this, since Melissa and Doug usually use wood at all possible places. I am a little worried the plastic will not hold up as well as wood, as my daughter is very tough on toys.I really dislike the way the hinges are spring hinges, since it makes the microwave crooked. They might have more long-term usability though, I am not sure.Other than those things, seems really good so far! Lots of room for foods and pretend cooking them. It has a flat top that can be used as extra shelf space. It took me about 3 hours to build from start to finish. I had a little bit of other adult help on parts that I needed extra strong hands- the above mentioned step 7/8 and also attaching the shelf the microwave is on. Other than that just myself and my almost-3 year old fetching parts as I needed them. I will try to update after she uses it for a while to comment on how it holds up.

Very pleased with it
Melissa & Doug are a go to for all things kids.Known for quality and durability, it will last even when a 2 yr old gets done with it. It’s not plastic and it will grow with the child as he develops other skills.Came in a long flat box, assembling wasn’t bad. Had everything it said. No batteries required just imagination. Manual turntable in microwave, 2 cube ice dispenser in fridge, stove knobs make noise when turning on the burners. Has a timer which scares my grandson so he hides it.
