20 Ways to Draw a Jellyfish and 44 Other Amazing Sea Creatures: A Sketchbook for Artists, Designers, and Doodlers Paperback – April 1, 2015

My wife loves these books and is currently waiting on more. These may not be step by step books but do show different ways to draw each topic instead of just teaching 1 way to draw them. The images are pretty simple so not so overwhelming and easy to draw.

I'm using this in my elementary art room with third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders - it has great ideas and the illustrations are simple and interesting. The book contains a wide variety of subjects and different ways to draw them. Great purchase!!!

I love all the "20 Ways" books. I'm a self taught, doodling artist. I draw for fun, not for perfection. These books are all great ways to get some new ideas, to practice, have fun, and explore. They are not instructional; they are experiential. You copy and create your own.

My 4 year old has put in at least 5 hours per day with this book since we received it. It really is a great book. I had no idea he would love it so very much. I bought tracing paper with it and he has already created many many drawings and stories with the pictures in this book. I already have purchased another one of these types of books.

Love these books for drawing and rock painting ideas

I don't know what I was expecting, but this wasn't quite it. It's not bad, it's just... not awesome. The mermaid page, which I was most excited about, is mostly covered by printed mermaids, not leaving a lot of room for my own doodles - and that's true for about 1/3rd of the undersea creatures. A lot of the examples are super complex, too, which I (as a beginner) find intimidating.
