It does work. It won't make you huge or a super puncher, but it works
The media could not be loaded. When I first saw this product I thought it was a joke. And then I started looking at some of the pictures and I watched some videos on YouTube and it actually looked kind of legit. There's some professional boxers using it and they can block it and dodge it. So I thought heck it's only 15 bucks let me give me a try.So good old Amazon 24 hours later I have it at my house. I have been messing with it for about 3 days and I've actually come to really enjoy it. I got my Garmin watch so I can count my punches and the force of them and how fast I am with him. I have to say it's much more akin to a speed bag and it is a heavy bag. I have been hitting punching bags for a long time, I'm no boxer but I do hit punching bags. The best advice I found online was when you start punching it don't keep your fists up by your head. Keep your hands out kind of like your pawing at it like a cat. And start like that and slowly progress to put keeping your fists up. Because when you keep your fists up you have to throw much faster and you know longer punch and it's harder to time with the length of the string. But after a while doing that you can kind of just swing at it and it is really kind of fun. I do it until I'm sweaty and I do my punch count with my watch. Like I said I've hit a punching bag almost my whole life and now I live in an apartment where I can't do that. So this is becoming the replacement and it's working surprisingly well.I'll have to get back on you on durability because I've only had it for like 4 or 5 days but I haven't had any string break or anything and I haven't hitting it pretty hard at times.

D. Jackal: You Didn't Even Know It-
Ive had this product for 4 months and have accumulated more more hours than I can remember. This reflex ball set is def. the best bang for your buck!...TIPS: 1)Look at a youtube video of Lomachenko(VASYL LOMACHENKO SHOWS FREAKISH ACCURACY WITH THIS COOL TENNIS BALL TECHNIQUE!) and this 8-10 year old kid using it (REACT REFLEX BALL)...It will give you foundation and what someone looks like who actually uses the item PROPERLY....Using it at -FIRST- WILL be intimidating...Your timing and everything else with it, WILL be OFF...Thus my 3 STAR Easy to use portion of this review...DO NOT GIVE UP..Start SLOW..your speed, accuracy and muscle memory will come. TRUST ME!!!!!!!!! 2) Don't use boxing gloves!, ITS CHEATING!!!..Instead use socks over you hands...Think about it this way...Its like making the ball bigger and having your regular hand size hit it (The target becomes easier to hit) ..giving you a FALSE sense of satisfaction...I know this..After remiving the gloves you'll realize that hitting the ball isn't as easy as it is with the gloves... TRUST ME!!..After a while when you've gotten TRULY comfortable, remove them(socks)..3) Think outside the box and be like water(flow and try new things with it)..4) Take your time at the start everyday/every time you use it...Using it after that you'll notice that your reflexes and muscle memory will spring into action after you gotten better from that day/time before...5) Make sure that your fists are as tight as possible!!!..I -CAN'T- stress this enough..6) This is probably the most important...Probably should have been #1....START WITH BEAST-MODE!!(Its the most erratic, making it the hardest of them all after using this particular one the others will be EASY!!...Honestly...Its the only one I use after seeing a review on youtube about this 1 ball's particular difficulty. & 7) Clean the headband and wraps often if your using them on a regular basis..The CONS: ..1) The string will sometimes hit or collide with your finger, thus ruining your flow and throwing the ball in an undesired location. However if your using socks over your hands, this wont be an issue...2) Using it for prolonged time periods(2 and a half -3 hours) like I do like I did/do will dry out your eyes...bring some eye lubricant..3) The elastic cord from time to time may hit your eye...Its not that bad though..better a cord than a fist.. ;) ...4) Using the BEAST-MODE ball and the other balls with its material will absorb water/sweat, thus making the ball slightly heavier after prolonged periods of use....keep it dry if possible!!..5) If you do not fold the headband properly, it will start to lose its nice appearance due to the Velcro..I wear a black bandana under it for sweat and for when it moves around due to me not liking it to tight. 6) This con. goes to the seller... I did not receive a lobster clasp.... -_- ..Instead the seller gave me a small piece of Velcro to use in its place.Just for the record, I do MMA...My reaction and skills have def. improved..People who watch me say Im REALLY good and -THEY-, not ME always emphasize that when they step or walk up to while and or after i use it. After using it and trying new things and being successful with those new moves it's hard not to see improvement and the progression you've made. For the people who have given this product bad a review, I can honestly say they have no patience and are to worried of what others are thinking instead of SHARPENING their SKILL SET/REFLEXES..My Video is coming SOON!!..Be on the lookout on youtube..I'll label it..-D. Great AND/BUT WISH FOR MORE
Research regarding sport/exercise equipment show that more than 90% of the equipments purchases do not get reused. This thing here is part of the 10% and will be for yourself as well. It is for one different, too it’s a cardio and focus and skills at the same time. Considering the cost if it it is really really great two pitfalls what not to be taken against the seller, one that the hand wraps could be longer, and two the balls levels eventually gets boring. so if I was the seller I will create more balls with advanced levels and upsell it that way.

Ask for significant other to demonstrate for laughs
Let me get in by saying this is an item that keeps on giving. Not only is it sure to test your reflexes (or the lack of), but it is sure to provide priceless entertainment if utilized by the right person! I originally got it for my husband who is always looking for variety in his workouts. But I had no idea how much joy it would bring me to watch my husband strap on this bad boy on his head and attempt to punch a tiny ball that just ended up wrapping around his body like a tetherball. On a serious note this appears to be a pretty well made product. It came with 4 different types of balls that varied in their hardness. It was strange because two of the balls had Velcro loops on the end of the string as a means to attach to the headband while the other two had nothing on the string and required that you attach the provided clasps. This was not an issue for me. Just strange. Overall this was a solid purchase.

Fun but tricky
First, I thought the lobster locks were missing from my order as well but after contacting manufacturer, it turns out they were in the bag with the blue (veteran) tennis ball. Second, I've only tried the black (novice) one and it definitely became easier once I trimmed the string to a shorter length. Kind of fun once you get going and get several hits in a row but it's tricky. I think wearing some type of light boxing glove would make it easier because if you go bare knuckle like me, your bones and such send the ball in all sorts of different directions. I'll keep trying it some more and maybe wrap my hands next time.
