Doesn't get super hot like others. Thick and comfortable. It is long lasting as I have had mine a year. I'm still using it and would buy it again. It's durable and hasn't town makes any mattress comfortable. I've used it on a good mattress and a cheap mattress and it has made even a cheap mattress feel like a 5 star mattress.

I have to say, I read a LOT of reviews about these products before I bought this one.I liked the price, the reviews and the fact that it is gel with tiny holes in it so that some air may get in there.I unrolled my queen short, and it sprung up and filled the bed completely like it should in 24 hours or so. There was no odor!My first two weeks on it were stellar. The best sleep I have had in YEARS! Super comfortable and not too hot. You do sink in there though!!!This week on it I am feeling like it may be dented in and not springing back into shape as it should. I am a side sleeper and only 135 pounds so I should not make a dent in it. I will make an update if it does not spring back.That is my reasoning for the 4 stars right now.

I'm only a week but this has saved my body from the pain my nectar mattress has been giving me. I read some of the reviews and settled on this. I got 3lb and 4inch thick and it is great. I literally took out the tape measure and measured it. It is exactly 4inch thick. I read the width and length were off and I don't know what a king is supposed to be but it measures exactly to my king size nectar mattress. I hope it holds up for a long time. This has saved me from buying a new bed, which I was so close to doing. Also the smell wasn't that bad. I put in on the day I got it. I hardly noticed. The wife complained for day or two but it's completely gone now.

It isn't bad, the mattress is worn out so much that it didn't help much as far as that goes. But I knew it was a long shot. We ended up ordering a new mattress all together. But if you have a mattress that isn't already sagging horribly in sure it is great. We did run a little hot on it, but not horribly. I think it's worth the price. We're going to put it on our spare room bed now that we ordered a new mattress.

I wasn’t so sure about this foam at first, but after the first night sleep on it, I’m glad I got it! It has small holes on one side and bigger holes on the other. No instructions came with it so wasn’t sure what side was supposed to be up. I put the bigger holes on top. It did have a strong smell when first opened, but after a day of airing and then the bed made, I didn’t notice any smell. It hasn’t moved around on my bed so it DOES stay in place. It is so comfortable! I do not wake up with hip pains any more! Happy about this purchase!

It is very comfortable and will transform an old mattress into a bed fit for a king. Our son wanted to sleep with is because our bed was so comfortable. We have a similar product except ours was $100+ more. This one is very comparable and he now sleeps in his own bed so it’s priceless in my book! It has the perfect thickness. The only downfall is that it is somewhat brittle. A good mattress protector should be sufficient though.

We have to remove the rollers from our bed in order to use this mattress topper. Our quad-amputee daughter has to have a lift and it would not be able to be used with the mattress taller. Hopefully she will be able to use it after we have time to remove the rollers and replace them with felt so the bed will move freely. Our other beds have this type of mattress and we enjoy sleeping on them.

Before the purchase of this mattress topper, our sleep quality was poor. Our sleep quality is much better, our back is no longer sore and the bed feels good. I am going to give this a few more weeks before declaring it the best.
