Sturdy, easy to set up and store
This stand is great! It is sturdy and well built. If you get on that is uneven or doesn't sit flush, return it and get a new one while you can. It probably got bent at shipping. This stand is quick to set up and easy to store, since it folds flat it just stays in the space under my Mixdeck Quad while it is in the case. When I'm playing at a gig, I keep the "feet" under the controller in my case. I use the shelf to hold my iPad mini which I tether for cellular data and also has the event schedule and other notes on it.

BEST LAPTOP STAND I'VE EVER HAD!!
I'm a Mobile DJ and a Nightclub Resident DJ and was looking for a sturdy folding laptop stand. I must admit, I was a little hesitant at first because of the price being so cheap but I decided to try it and let me tell you, I am glad I did!! It fits perfectly under my controller in a road ready case, and also fits perfect under my mixer in a case when I'm rocking turntables! I have a 15" MacBook Pro and it holds it up nice and firm. I use the removable shelf underneath for my external hard drive, or my Serato interface depending on what setup I am using. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great laptop stand, mine even came with a gig bag so it don't get all banged up!

Great, with an easy modification...
Bought this planning on using it for my live performances abroad. It is durable, heavy duty and does fold flat. The audio interface tray is a great touch and I'll probably continue to use this in the studio for my second computer. However, as some reviewers have mentioned-it can come slightly out of 'true' and come to you wobbly. I bought mine used, but took very heavy gaffer's tape, and the remnants of a cut-up plastic gift card to even out the legs. What this offered me was a stand that now is super-sturdy, and customized (for me). If you're not willing to alter/work with things you buy cheap, there are certainly other options that are twice and 3 times more that you can buy . This one works, especially if you take the time to measure the difference and make a wedge. It works for me, so I'll keep it.

It does the job perfectly fine.
For $30, you can't beat this stand! The metal is sturdy enough to give you confidence. I am a mobile DJ. I used it for the first time the other night and it worked flawlessly. It folds up easy and transports compact. Which brings me to the review written about the tilting back issue. Yes, it does have a slight tilt back (if you push it that way! who does that?) because it has hinges to fold it up. It lays the laptop in a downward angle so the weight it going down and towards the DJ. I'm wondering, what in the world are they doing to push their laptop backwards? If you are using your gear like a normal person, I don't see how this is an issue. Maybe they are dancing and fist pumping so hard they are banging their table around. I did my job and it never moved once. I read one guy who said it doesn't fit in the bag. HUH? Here's your sign. SMH, I don't understand that one either. Mine slid right in with no problem. The little rack underneath is a nice feature to lay my external HDD on. Overall, I can't understand why anyone would spend over a $100 on a stand. It just sits there...It just a piece of metal holds to lay your laptop on...It's not supposed to do anything fancy...You laptop is not going to collapse and fall over. Buy it, it's worth the money.

Fixed and not adjustable, poor build
Maybe good for a cheap stand. But not so good if you are a DJ and need more angle adjustment. 2nd shelf under the main shelf is small and pretty much useless. Pyle has a reputation for making cheap stuff with lots of flaws but works for the budget DJ. They use to make good stuff (Pyle drivers) when I was a teenager back in the '80s or else my standards were lower. In my experience just about everything I've gotten from Pyle (in the early days of DJing and didn't have much money) is trash and eventually breaks or falls apart. If you are into DJing for the long hall invest money in a good laptop stand like an Ultimate Support HYP-1010 Hyper Series if you can find one. I have one of these and it folds up nicely and is durable. I've had the HYP - 1010 for 10 years.

this thing is NOT tall
for whatever reason, the images of this product were not particularly clear to me and admittedly i didn't read the specs of the item closely enough to notice that this stand is only a couple feet tall at most. i was expecting something that would stand at least half as tall as myself from the floor so that it could be used while standing up, but it is clearly meant to be set on a desk or table. that being said, it is very sturdy and stable and holds my laptop and audio interface perfectly as i wanted, i just wish it was taller.
