Very happy with how this product saves my flower beds from weeds. You just have to apply well ahead of sprouting season, and then reapply again later in the summer. I'm in St. Louis area and use this in early March (at the same time I use per-emergence on my lawn), and then again in the summer to keep my beds weed free. Read the label!

i've been using this for years. great at keeping the weeds away. it doesn't kill existing weeds or weeds that have already started germanating.

Let me just say this, PEOPLE THINK I HAVE A GARDNER. I'm not sure when they think this garder comes, but they sure don't see me outside weeding. Follow the directions and you won't be spending any time on your knees weeding flower beds or gardens. It works and your yard will be pristine.

This works great and apply it twice a year. This eliminates the need to always pull weeds. This also doesn’t damage existing plants. It just prevents the germination process of new weeds. I have been using granuals for years.

I purchase this product yearly because it works. It’s best used on top of your mulch, either freshly laid or fluff up existing. Follow the package directions for best use of this product. I highly recommend. It does work!

I have been using preen for many years on my flower gardens and was thrilled when I saw one that lasts for 6 months. I put it down at the end of end of April and it will keep weeds away through the end of October. Having 7 gardens and knowing I won't have to weed is a wonderful thing - I definately recommend this product, it totally works.

This may prevent weeds but it seemed too dangerous for my dog. Went with Preen 3 months. Instructions appear to be safer.
